Please, no sarcasm on this. Marriage is the worst option.

I fear the second scenario. She knows exactly which city I live in - I told her I'm not from there though (a lie), but it would've been easy to put 2 and 2 together. For things like death threats and insults I know telephone companies and lawyers will not pursue those cases. But family law is a profitable area. I'm afraid of leaving a pregnant women alone, I fear it will bite me in the future hard. I'm uncertain of the optimal decision to make. Edit: Should I lawyer up and try to go for an abort…

First thank you for your numerous replies to this thread. Surely if she keeps the baby a paternity test will reveal things? I realize the opportunity to get away by ignoring her and hoping things play out. But the risk she keeps it and paternal payments, plus fathering a kid weighs on my mind. I see your advice is to lay low for now? If she does somehow manage to contact me, what should be my next steps? We met in a city where I lived (I lied saying I was from elsewhere), in essence she has loca…

Are you saying it's likely she gets the abortion if she can't reach me? Paying her some cash would honestly alleviate some stress of my mind - What if she runs into me in the future? I'll be dead and my future ruined. However once I pay I'm afraid she will swindle me for more and more.

So I should lay low, avoid the area I met her in, etc? What if she reports it to the police, or get lawyers involved?

Do you think giving her a heads up - like you might be pregnant - is needed? What if she's stupid and thinks her period is late for months? I don't want a child.

She gets pregnant and passes the period for abortion (10 weeks), tracks me, I pay child support and have a child I do not want

burner phone Is there anything proactive I should do? Such as asking if she's missed her period? On one hand I think it'll help reduce the chances of a kid (which I dread). On the other hand I might get extorted. I still have her number, and she still has my fake. My fake is still with me. She moved out but she'll likely come back multiple times per year on short visits.

Yeah I wish it was. The two issues are unrelated I know how to deal with the STD issue, this I don't.

What would you do in my shoes? I don't want to react late.

That's another issue, do you have comments about this pregnancy issue?

Are you saying I should be inactive? Is there anything proactive I could do? Edit: She has my fake phone contact. Should I get rid of it? Or see if she messages me?

Could you give me advice.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
