What set me free was the realization that if your main source of unhappiness is not being successful with women, you're still going to be unhappy even with women around you. Surprise. It is pretty obvious that you don't even like yourself and perceive yourself as a loser. I know I am being harsh, but you need to stay away from /r/seduction. Your primary focus is to get your life up and running, out of the parents basement, and into a life you actually like. Even suppose for an instance that you …

Accepting that you will always suck, and you keep trying until you get better. And that this applies to everything you do in life, not just dating. Who gets into a car the first time and is instantly a good driver? Who becomes great at swimming or snowboarding on their first day in the pool or on the slope? Accept that you suck and you keep doing it until you stop sucking. You can theory all day long, but no one learns to swim from reading alone--at some point you're going to have to jump in the…

Basically: Cancel with no excuse = plain rude or you're lacking rapport; either way probably best to move on Cancel with valid excuse = it's fine, shit happens. The best is the mindset change: to go from someone who keeps trying to 'get' something (like a leecher or parasite) and figure out how to GIVE value. "What do I have to offer?" is the question we all should ask ourselves, not just with respect to women, but with everything in life.

Thanks for clarifying--I normally don't read the comments section on Cracked articles.

This article has good points, but I dislike how much energy is spent trying to defend itself from negative responses. I agreed with more or less every point as if it were common sense--how can anyone possibly argue that what they feel inside is better than what they actually do? The tl;dr for me is that the man who does good things for selfish reasons will always be better than the kind man with good intentions who does nothing at all.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
