I agree with the general sentiment. Social media—particularly the e-girl/influencer subculture—and Internet porn have destroyed how people perceive, recognize, and internalize love. People need to touch some grass and disconnect themselves from these things to get back to understanding how beautiful and deep love can really be.

Yes, but you can help that perception by signaling certain things in how you dress and present yourself, right? A guy who is into classy, refined things should dress in a way which is classy and refined. A guy who values fitness and physical health should, in fact, look fit. Most relevantly though, a guy who thinks he's attractive and has that level of confidence should dress and act in a way which showcases his attractive features and confidence. Like, if you had a luxury vehicle, you shouldn't…

Yeah, but most people don't engage with anything that deeply. Many people prefer to just try a bit here and there—they aren't food critics or chefs. That's why a buffet appeals to a lot of average people, while some Michelin Star restaurant with food that has complex flavors and is meant to be savored will appeal more to these critics, chefs, and other connoisseurs. There of course are also people who are picky and like to eat some of the same stuff over and over, just like there are those who a…

Wow bro, thanks for redpilling me even more than I already was 🤣 Not surprised though!

Lmao Sorry, I should have said "undesirable" here instead of "unattractive." Fuckboys are attractive for sleeping with and therefore very "fuckable," but not desirable to actually be in a good relationship with (for decent people, at least)

Yep, that's it. Your personality could be an 8+ but if you're a 5 or below without good pics or fashion sense, almost every girl will swipe left on you. It's mostly looks first—deeper aspects of personality, shared interest, etc. come next if you actually want to keep a stable, happy relationship. But that's why in some ways, everyone should make sure that their external self reflects their internal self well. If they got a good personality, they should showcase that well on the outside and at l…

Amen.

I get what you're saying (and generally agree), but.. ...indicative of abilities to manipulate and attract women. ...while it might seem immoral or disingenuous, wouldn't possessing these abilities—charisma, charm, manipulation—make them almost by definition more attractive? I think a greater distinction needs to be made here: There's a difference between being desirable relationship-wise and being attractive. If you have both, that's an ideal LT partner. If you have the former without the latte…

I try to embody the same mindset as you from the male side, although I've been intimate with women before who had fairly high body counts (10+) and it didn't bother me as long as they could prove to me that they were looking for something deeper with me. I don't think our mindset is that popular though, or at least not anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/24 09:50 PM

Agreed, but what you were saying about "high n-count" is what I was referring to when I said that too many bodies also looks unattractive. But it's true that it varies from individual, although couldn't the same be said about what's considered a "low n-count" as well?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/24 09:48 PM

Well, that's not necessarily true. Sometimes people have a lot of options so they'd rather just cycle through a lot of partners who are great at bed to sample the field and gain experience It's like going to a buffet. Would you eat the same food over and over again, even if it was great? Nah, you'd wanna try other things.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/24 09:47 PM

Yeah, so having a high body count would be a positive sign, as in its a sign that you're desired and so it's an attractive thing. And I agree with what you're saying about a low body count too
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/24 09:44 PM

The reason why I didn't want to open Pandora's Box when it comes to "attractiveness" is even what you're saying can vary drastically depending on the other party. To some girls, yeah, a hot, strict Catholic would be really hot. But that's not most, at least not in modern-day Western countries (particularly the US)
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/24 09:43 PM

No, it's just that this doesn't need to be said. It's obvious. But as a result of this causation, having a high body count also would also cause one to assume a higher level of attractiveness. Anyways, it's still often seen by many as a sign of achievement/experience to have multiple sexual partners, provided they aren't prostitutes or whatever
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/24 09:42 PM

What you're saying is definitely true, but is it not also true that having a high body count would be a sign of being attractive, both looks-wise and (to some extent) personality-wise? If I didn't know a guy very well but I knew he had a lot of bodies, then I'd assume that there's something about him which makes him attractive or at least desirable. And so that's a plus.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
