| 2 | [NY] Can a father get a fair judgement in a custody case?We never did get married, we purchased a home, and had a child over an 11 year relationship. I was always a big part of my child's life. I'm just looking to keep it that way. The sad realty is I may be spending my life savings on an unwinnable fight. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/03/22 12:12 AM |
| 2 | Looking For More AdviceI’m heading towards a very similar situation, also in NY. It is my understanding the difference in the residential vs non-residential parent in child support obligations is very significant. One pays and one receives based on a straightforward chart. 1 child 17% of gross, 2 children 25% of gross, 3 children 29% of gross etc. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/04/21 01:36 PM |
