You literally can't win nowadays. Now there's also stuff like "women-only" for classes and events that further separates men from meeting any potential connections.

This is one of those things where I say stop listening to strangers on reddit and live the life you want. I've done cold approaches, very awkwardly so. Sometimes I would get rejected. Other times I would get numbers. Nothing ever worked out, but no one also shunned me or rejected me harshly because I at least put in the effort to look presentable and don't try to get something out of them other than just a quick conversation+phone number. There is nothing wrong with wanting to talk to girls you …

Well it’s hard to generalize in that case but my point still stands. College is the best opportunity in your life to date around and have sex without too much irl consequences. Its the perfect time to figure out your dating style in terms of sheer number of people available. Not having gone to college may also mean youkre behind the curve on many aspects in terms of education and social behaviors, at least from what i noticed. Which would lessen your dating pool to other women who didnt go to co…

That is a good point. I think you're trying to say "Are you a late bloomer, or do you need to improve your flaws?" This is a question I've wondered myself for awhile. It's just hard to really know whether you just haven't hit your strides yet or there's some underlying issues. I think it ties nicely back into the University cutoff line. If you weren't able to date/have sex at all in University, where there is more young/single/horny people than anywhere else in the world, then it's time to reall…

I agree with this statement, but I still struggle with it. I still never had a relationship, so everytime I meet an attractive girl and we hit it off I get attached pretty quickly BECAUSE it's an uncommon occurance. Catch 22 type of deal. I don't know how to stop this on an emotional level, feels like a curse that can only be broken by success. I try to keep myself busy, have friends and hobbies outside of my dating life, but because of my inexperience, dating itself feels the most exciting to t…

I'd have to concur. Unless you're way more attractive than the other guys who are hitting on her, you will have to pay up or she will just see other guys. Yes, it's unfair. No, it's not gonna change because we think it's unfair.

Like u/WilliamWyattD said, the underlying issue to not having experienced sex/romance goes deeper than just being an insecurity. It becomes a personality flaw. Quoting him: >More, it is indicative of huge inherent deficiencies that will take the kind of change to address that most people are not capable of. This is it right here. There is nothing inherently wrong with being inexperienced, but people can very much sense something is off when they speak to you. I noticed this as I've been on both …

I'm thinking I don't resemble my pics as much(I don't use filters or anything but obviously hand select the photos that I look best in). It's either that or my personality is just off putting, maybe a combination of both. Either way it's been a struggle the last few months tbh. If I'm myself it feels like I got ghosted/rejected because I'm off putting. If I alter myself to be more traditionally masculine it feels like I got rejected because I'm not being myself. Feels like an uphill battle that …

Im having a hard time swalling this but it holds true. most girls Ive been on a date w straight up cut me off after first date. I couldnt imagine it would happen if I was hot. shame because Im already trying my best to look the best but seems not enough

well shit, im getting 3~4 initially, 5 if i pull back. tried it with celebrities photos and they consistently got 7+, some even 9. guess ive been overestimating my own handsomeness :/

I agree. Modern dating culture forces you to be insincere, manipulative, and noncommital because otherwise people are just gonna be turned off that your way too incested/keen/eager. it really sucks the fantasy/joy part out of dating thats supposed to make it exciting

my goodness you took the words right out of my mouth. I was struggling to see why I'm so fucking tired of dating nowadays and yeah, its the effort/enjoyment ratio. I also had to do 4~ years of self analysis/improvement before I even went on my first date, all while getting rejected flaked on dating apps and irl. recently went out of my ways to hit ona girl irl, only to get flaked. I simply dont understand what Im supposed to do at this point. dating apps I seldom get matches, irl girls flake/not…

This is super insightful actually. For a lot of guys I will have to say it's very black and white. Is she hot to you or not? if she is, there's a good chance he wants to try a shot with her regardless of what she's into. This makes me feel better about my physique that I'm very content with but nowhere near a zac efron type(tho I'm sure he's an exception to most girls regardless). To salty guys this may sound just girls being picky but I think this actually helps many guys who are into certain t…

I will say, I looked into Red Pill a lot as a former Foreveralone kissless virgin, because it was the only accepted place where you could openly talk about your struggles dating as a man without being ridiculed and just outright ignored. There's definitely some good advices there. But naturally, as I started to have a life outside of reddit and digital space, I slowly opted out of browsing in the subreddit for how ridiculous it all seemed in the grand scheme of things.(what would the girls I tal…

I've heard decent advice from a guy friend, but this was when he didn't have a crush and was going through a breakup, so he was thinking very logically. So what he would tell me would generally be correct(if she doesn't text you within couple hours, she's not that interested) I've also only heard bad advice from another guy friend. I've rarely ever asked girls for advice, but the one time I did she ended up being wrong(probably didn't want to tell me the truth for the fear of hurting my feelings…

the women "choose" in a sense of simply having to say yes or no. men have to make the first move, but it only works if the girl is interested. girls would rather move on a lot of the time than directly asking out guys, which is why a lot of them drops hints. every girl I went out with, simply had to choose IF going to a date with me was worth, whereas I had to choose the PERSON. I guess they both choose, just at different stage.

Idk where u live but guys are def not physically attractive as women. at least in America a good portion of guys simply dont put in the effort to even try to look good for the fear of being judged. Not that Ive seen many girls without makeup but, but def seen enough dudes who need a makeover

I see, I wasnt aware women get rejected/ghosted. I definitely doubt they get this the same amount as men do, but men def experience less sexual harrassment). I can see lying manipulation coming to play for women becquse guys def will do this to have sex, but how have you or women you know experienced degrading/humiliation? because from my perspectice its always guys getting humiliated degraded for not being good enough, whether it be lack of experience, past actions and expectations. I will also…

Would you care to elaborate on this perspective? I've laid out all my struggle that I can think of. I definitely do want to hear women's perspective, because at no point I say women do not experience issues, but I don't know the full depth of this. Please specify if you don't mind!

Wow, this is a great insight to how I've felt over the years. As someone who was a 25M kissless virgin until last year, I had to go out of my way to completely fix myself in order to even get started in dating. And that process alone took 4 years. 4 years of nothing but self-doubt or grind trying to experience sex/romance for once while you see everyone else around you just having it casually while you think there's something inherently wrong with you because you haven't had it yet. Esp since I …

this is solid. but only assuming she finds you somewhat physically attractive to begin with. I feel the takeaway here is how to properly ask someone out by indirectly suggesting doing smthing together, not some magic strat that will suddenly make hot girls fall for you

Yeah, I wouldn't believe anyone that sugar coats how much you need to be "alone" and you don't need no girls. I've had friends in the past who tell me the exact same shit only to be drooling over girls not long after, doing the same shit they told me not to. I think it's a good thing to be motivated by intimacy. If I wasn't, I would have never put myself out of my comfort zone. I would not be working out as hard. I would not force myself to talk to random girls. I just ignore any comments on red…

>most girls seem to be into white guys I understand where you are coming from with this sentiment. 25 year old kissless virgin, Asian dude so I truly do. But even I came to realization race is just one factor of this. If I was white I'm sure I would have attracted a lot more girls for sure. But it is what it is and you gotta own your heritage. In terms of comparing yourself to people on this sub, I wouldn't compare myself to anyone on reddit. This is an anonymous forum, where people can lie/dece…

Wow I feel the very exact same as you. 21 here though but everything else is just about the same. Don't need a girlfriend to be happy, but would sure be nice to feel some intimacy, and seeing as how I've yet to experience it yet, I'm starting to question if I ever will.

A quick question. There is a small social coming up at a girl's house who ghosted me. I've already seen her after she ghosted me and we had a regular conversation so it's not like this will be an awkward surprise for her if I show up but I'm conflicted to whether I should go or not. I'm not trying to win her back at all, actually trying to just move on but it contradicts saying "yes" to social situations. Easy summary: Social is hosted at a girl's house who ghosted me The club associated with th…

Had a crush on someone from 6th grade all the way to first year in college. Wasn't a "omg she is the one" but I always thought she was pretty. She is 5 years older than me lol. Sad to admit but I can not count how many times I masturbated to her pictures.

I couldn't agree more with this post. No amount of preparing for girls online will give me anywhere near the competence of me actually just head-butting the issue head on, which is to take actions.

I'm 21, it comes down to a couple of things but here is my breakdown of it: Inherent personality: my dad is a quiet introvert who keeps to himself mostly. my mom is a naive, timid, and extremely sensitive person. So naturally, I was always a soft-spoken sensitive person who was afraid of taking risks and took everything personally. If I wanted something I would never directly ask for it, and if someone complimented me I would always bounce it back. I also had a hard time saying no, so many guys …

It could be worse, you could have never been in relationships, never had sex, and never made out with a single girl. You could be me lol. You have experience. I would say that's good enough for you to be not discouraged.

Can I ask how you ask girls for hookup on tinder? Is it as simple as just asking them "Yo you want to netflix and chill?" or is there more to it?

I feel you, I'm on a similar boat except I don't have as much of an active social life, and I'm not really committed in a club. I just have couple good friends, which is better than none. Also I'm a senior instead of junior so I barely have months remaining until I graduate so the time is definitely against me here.

I agree but to be fair, if a hot girl did that to us we would feel the happy where as if an ugly girl did that to us we would be disgusted... it's just the harsh truth. Be attractive and don't be unattractive.

probably but if it was a guy that she was willing to fuck, im guessing he doesn't need facebook dms to get laid, as in he prob already gets enough pussies in real life

i had a female friend of mine who went through a similar situation. Broke up with her bf, changed her relationship status, then not so long after had a guy she hadn't talked to for a year dm her on facebook. she said it looks creepy and desperate.

I'm also 21 hoping to just get rid of this virginity card by 22, but preferably a gf, except I haven't even gone out on a date. Where do I even start lol Your position is literally where I want to be in right now. Not worrying about sex/girls, but just full on focusing on myself. I just can't seem to shake off this feeling of inadequacy though.
