| 7 | Reading Models, came across this section: "Men who only experience rejection"...The law of averages assumes it over a small sample. So if you assumed this would average out after say 5 weeks, it wouldn't truly. Only after infinite number of trials (or weeks in this case) would it actually average out. His Chances with each girl could be 50% chance of success but he only succeeded once out of ten times. Obviously real life can't be pinned down to numbers like this but the previous outcomes don't effect his next chance with a girl. But instead notice the common factor is you and then do some work on your inner game and analyze how you act in each interaction. When in reality the next choice has nothing to do with the previous outcome. Same thing goes here, if he opens 100 different people, each one doesn't depend on the outcome of the others(assuming his mindset doesn't change after each one) each person will be a different interaction where he is the only constant factor.
