First off, that means that feminists don't think the patriarchy is the cause of ALL problems. -7	My Response to #YesAllWomen No they are not defining what feminism is. They are defining what feminism is to people who are anti-feminism which is seems like people on this subreddit are. And I mean, I have a tumblr (yes silly me) where I often write about being so ashamed of calling myself a feminist because of the ignorant, crazy and hypocritical things that some people in our movement do. I don't want to sound like I'm talking down to you, but I know many men who have made the mistake between being told you have privilege or that patriarchy fucks things up, and being told that you are personally responsible. Because that stupid-ass stunt where a bunch of MRAs called into a rape hotline (making the phone line busy so that peope with real emergencies could not get through) is not only immature but also harms those who are victims of rape (male or female). Just as you can highlight cases where a feminsist speaks ill of male rape victim, I too can highlight cases in which MRAs speak ill of female rape victims or take action to invalidate the problems faced by female victims. We are not silly in believing that violence perpetrated against men by women does not exist. As for your second paragraph we agree on most of that as well. Women ARE seen as more vulnerable and weak (and therefore less able to be violent) than men. This is a biproduct of strictly instilled gender roles. We hate it. Women can be violent.
