Saying bigger is not better just because there is such a thing as too big is really stupid because the point of too big is usually several standard deviations above the average. If there is a range between too small and too big, then bigger is better applies within that range. That is not guaranteed is another story, so saying “bigger is always better” would not be true.

Exactly, but some women keep pushing the idea of size doesn’t matter just because they believe it applies to them. It’s a man’s issue, not a woman’s issue, you are right with that. Therefore women should stay out of the discussion, but some keep pushing it because they think women are being sort of blamed for their preferences and that men are saying that they are at fault for men’s insecurity. I think that’s the reason why men will always be insecure. When an average trait is the minimum as most preferences go, then that tells how bigger is better from a male point of view. Average being some kind of baseline or minimum makes men insecure. I doubt most men are insecure about not being the biggest, and if they do probably it’s about having the certainty that bigger is not potentially better (note the use of the word “potentially, because it is never guaranteed). When the range where yo…

No one denies personal preference. How behavior depends on that very preference is the issue. There are women who prefer smaller but they have a bigger partner. There are also women who prefer bigger but they have a smaller partner. Tell me in which case it is more likely that the guy knows and believes her true preference? It is easier for women to say it hurts instead of “bigger could be better”. It’s ridiculous to keep saying to men “it’s just a preference, what’s so difficult to understand a…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
