Feminism is about equality. While there may be some radical feminists out there who take things too far, they don't represent what feminism is. (and they should be called out by feminists and non-feminists alike when they go overboard) The radicals have gone mainstream. Harriet Harman remains in power in the U.K. In Sweden, 40% of the boards of directors of any corporation MUST be women.

kudos to him for an "I was wrong" vid after selling 100k books.

title does not match the vid, which looked like a 4th grade homophobe's cartoon.

apart from pointing out that I was directly answering the question asked in the original post?

no, I said I never heard of it. I also had never heard of China before about age three. and the first question in the headline was: Has anyone else here seen this movie? so my answer seemed apropos.

That must mean it doesn't exist. where did I say that?

I've never heard of it.

where "sex symbol" = "easy target." there's a school of thought that beta males make better, more obedient husbands. If this is you, that's what's expected of you by the woman who "chooses" you.

yeah, see, I have to waste $10.00 to see the movie, or $1.00 when it hits the dollar theater (when the hype has passed), or I have to have it waste a spot in my netflix queue. Or when it's on cable, I have to have my cable box report that I watched it. and as much as I know it's trash, one way or another, the producers will get one small part of the money I spent in order to watch it, before I write up a review that described, in detail what I actually saw, and how insultingly stupid it was.

otoh, if a newspaper calls him a "female hybrid," because he chooses to iron a shirt or wash a dish every so often, that newspaper obviously has huge problems.

yes, and comedians and the occasional comedienne will joke about it, but the gloss and glimmer of wisdom that "relationship experts," especially those who are female, are seen to have, make this a much more valuable article than we usually see. It's like when fundamentalist ministers admit that there is "some truth" to the theory of evolution. It's not a complete embrace of Darwin, but it's better than the poke in the eye usually sent in our direction.

the best we can really do is fly a few more "don't have sex with strange women" flags.

new argument: men statistically own fewer shoes than women, and are therefore podiatrically oppressed.

The women are free on $200 cash bails. simple assault charges carry higher bails.

as I said, it's not that way in fact. there is no justification for treating men worse in fact than treating women when both are faced with similar allegations. an accused male is screwed, and an accused female is screwed. but an accused female just seems to be screwed less. look at how much defense she gets from the female-oriented subreddits. would they have given a shit if she were a male accused?

except that men are not treated as "innocent until proven guilty." May are suspended or fired and many are detained, before evidence is collected.

Do not make the mistake of promoting a female "to the forefront" of the mens rights movement. 1) there have been men dong it much longer. 2) a woman doesn't experience antimale bigotry as a man does. She can be an MRA, but that doesn't mean she'll be called a pedophile for organizing the kids to build a garden. 3) There is little in her article that hasn't already been said by Glenn Sacks, Warren Ferrell, or the false rape society guy. it does not magically become more true because she says it. …
