I can appreciate your point about building perspective, that's fair, especially if one is not sure what they are looking for, but I would have to disagree about centering your self development towards the person you want to be in a relationship with as opposed to what you would personally aspire to be.

Really? This is way too mechanical. We're not talking about buying a car here or choosing a school for your kid. Matters of the heart should always have some logical guidance, but making a spreadsheet? Give me a break.. What's next, a fucking algorithm based app? The fuck is going on with this world.. I'm going to just start dating my iPad.

being in my late 20s and having done for myself what i think is well, my only advice is read everything with skepticism and think critically for yourself. successful people don't need to read "how to live" lists to know what works best for them.

how is knowing how to turn on a woman in a completely consensual manner considered creepy?

Things to keep in mind for the first date: Dinner is not conducive to successful first dates, but if it's too late, try to get out of the restaurant right after and spend time at a chill bar or lounge Remember, you are super interesting and super cool, no matter what she looks like, you're doing her the honor of giving her your time If you're funny, use that to your advantage Push and pull to draw attraction; poke at her light heartedly but tread carefully with this if you don't have experience …

I think you should suggest to a girl to spend the night if she sleeps with you. Are you implying that's not your norm? Given it's usually late at night when this happens, it's the gentleman thing to do.

You are completely ripe to be the next Casanova. I would recommend you start your journey by reading "The Game" by Neil Strauss. You don't have to follow that book as a seduction bible, but you'll find plenty of inspiration and hope for yourself. Start with this, it's an easy read, then take it from there.

Neediness. That is the biggest problem. If you overcome this, you'll avoid most of the mistakes people have listed on here. Neediness is the source. Tackle it directly.

I suggest you try speed dating a few times and see what works. In my opinion, and experience, it's a great way to learn how to attain maximum value from your interactions with a woman in a limited time frame. After a couple of times you'll start to get a sense of what really works for you and what's a hindrance.

I mean, if you're getting what you need out of your smoke breaks, just master that, who cares about whether you meet people inside or outside the club? Frankly, I think clubs are awful places to meet people because it's so loud and it's not conducive to approaching and conversation. Just master the smoke break game, learn how to carry it from the smoke break to inside the club and go on from there.

I quit facebook altogether recently and I've done way better for myself. I think it's a sign of neediness to use facebook for try to accumulate social capital, at least in the typical way: checking into places, tagging people to shit, meaningless status'. My confidence in myself in general has grown immensely over the last few months and I just don't care to have people know what I'm doing unless they have to. I think it also, in inadvertently, adds a sense of mystique. And personally, Facebook …

How's your confidence level? Are you going in nervous with the comedy? Do you do any push/pull to derive attraction? I make girls laugh a lot too, but it doesn't always do the trick. I think laughter can enhance the attraction, but not set the stage for it. Try making fun of her a little bit in your jokes. And please, calm down with this chemical castration, that is totally unwarranted. Your sex drive is going to start declining anyway. I'm 27 now and I can tell you I had much strong drive when …

Yeah, like I mentioned, it's best to act within the situation and come up with something more tailored to the person you are speaking with. They have worked most of the time, but not always, in my experience with varying results. I have found that they work better with women in their late 20's and older actually. Maybe because they have more direction in their lives and have things more figured out. Ask a 20 year old girl what's her passion and prepare yourself for a mindless headache.

I would note that you should be aware, as /u/MichaelValmont1 mentioned, not all girls are as talkative. Also, don't start off with an open ended question every time. Sometimes they are more effective after a few minutes of conversation to keep things going. They are especially effective on first dates. I think it's best to ask questions based on the person but here are some canned ones: *How do you find dating in [city] compare to where you were before? *If you were to pull out some cash right n…

You're welcome. One thing that I found helpful with developing this spontaneous conversation skill set is speed dating. Speed dating, besides being an awesome way to meet people, forces you to have a conversation for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the service. After a few of these you should improve on being able to spark more in depth conversations with strangers. As per the job example, you're right, some people hate their jobs. I had just met this person through a friend who introduced me to h…

Is this really good advice? Come on now... You don't have to fear silence, but it is not really that ok to have so many moments in a spontaneous conversation where you both are just silent and staring at your phones or looking around. It can really kill the vibe and even if you're ok with silence, she probably will feel awkward, it's just natural, she's not your friend or family member but rather someone you just approached. That said, I don't think you should start asking interview like questio…

despite having improved a few things in my life, i noticed the biggest difference when i learned to really love who i was, rather than just tell myself "man you're the fucking shit", i really started to believe it. that, plus this: i stopped letting other people determine how i felt about myself. no one should ever have that power over you, especially strangers / random girls. i think once you're comfortable with yourself at that level, all the other strides you've made will become woven togethe…

How mean are you getting? You should also say something nice back. Like after 2 negs, be like "hey i'm just teasing, i think your [teeth/outfit/glasses/whatever you made fun of] is actually really [cute/pretty/funny/awesome/etc.]" that way she knows your playful and not an actual dick. also you have to be careful who are doing this with. i went to a speed dating event a couple of weeks ago and met this AWESOME chick. I guess in retrospect she wasn't as physically attractive as most of the girls …

first date, never bring someone else with you and if you run into someone who is a friend, explain that its a date and you need to be alone. even if you were going to be the alpha, you dont need other people tagging along for your date, some social proof wouldve been cool but that's it

exclude girls who won't fuck you? only 10 of them will sleep with you that night? jeez dude, you give this subreddit a bad name. i'm totally fine with same night lays but if i'm enjoying talking to a girl but i know for fact i'm not getting laid tonight i don't just get up and go. that's not what seduction is about.

Confused what you mean by not making intentions clears? If you mean you're trying to make things sexual, you make that clear with all the kino (great job with it btw). If you mean you want to make it clear you're not looking for a relationship then your actions should say it, not your words. For example, don't take them to fancy dinner dates and text them every single day. You have to have casual dates at the park and not say shit like "i really like you". If you feel that she doesn't get that, …

save your game for the winter when you can wear gloves or go to lots of costume parties as a butler. alternatively - try avoid holding hands initially. use the back of your fingers/hand when you touch them on the knee, shoulder, etc. if you want to be a bit more sensual use one finger tip, the nail side if that's sweaty too. when you must hold hands or use your palm, hold a cold drink in your hand first and then when you put your sweaty hands on her say something to the effect of "hope you dont …

That's unfortunate man but I don't see the problem with leaving, ESPECIALLY if she's super into you. You need to let her see that you've got other things going on and that she's not the center of your universe. that said, don't go leave her for an hour at a crowded bar, but say "hey i gotta go check on my friends but ill get back to you in a bit" and stay away for a good 10 mins at least, depending on how things are going.

facebook or OKC pics can be misleading. too many times has it happened where I'm expecting to meet up with an HB7 or 8 and it ends up a chubby 4 or 5.

long story really but on first dates or OKC dates (which I don't like to do much of because, and this is just me, they effect my field game since it's not much work to set up a date online) I go to bars in my neighborhood and move around a few cool ones, avoid dinner or movie or anything like that. it's different since i was on an actual date, I did some DHVs and what not but at that point she's forced to talk to you so I sit and just enjoy conversation with her. she had her guard up big time bu…

looks like they were explained below. i like to use the 5 lies earlier on usually as it's fun and keeps them on their toes early on and that's key. the cube is a good generic DHV and if you're somewhat accurate it'll blow some girls minds away

Can't give that away as it's too money to share publicly. But it should be something along the lines of one of these: "Hey man, remind me tomorrow to pay the electric please' "Hey can you take your stuff out of the dryer in the morning, I need to do my laundry" "Hey don't forget to call the maid tomorrow" You get the idea.

Bingo. Sleazy is taking advantage of a girl that is emotionally vulnerable after a harsh break up or a girl that's really drunk, not breaking down all the walls she has put up due to how she was nurtured. Also, I personally think that the most exciting part of meeting someone isn't the first time you have sex but the social dynamic and comfort between the both of you post sex. After I had this f-close, I was was up for 3 hours until 830am talking to this girl and really enjoying her company. In …

Thank you. Seddit has been great, but one thing I don't like about some of the FRs here, especially f-closes, is the lack of details. I think we can really learn from each other if we share these details rather than just FRs that provide general overviews. Let me know how those things work out and once again, I'm no where near where I want to be, so I would love to hear commentary from others.

That's easier said than done. You can't expect to just start talking to random guys at bars and ask them to hang out again. At least out of random, without some sort of personal connection at first.

can't believe i never thought about this. it's so obvious and would be so effective. i'm also from the school, especially here in a place like NY where HB's get hit on by 20 dudes a night, that a # doesn't mean anything. will never ask for a number again.
