[Trigger Warning] These are some of the commonalities and signs I tell my daughters to look out for (this is not a 100% accurate method nor is it an exhaustive list). Some of these are from my personal experience in college dorms and some from this NY Times article. Alcohol. Of all the commonalities, this is the most common. They will want their targets to engage in heavy drinking. This should always and immediately spark a major red flag. They, generally speaking, are narcissists.
