No, all parts of the country is there, I also disagree that mostly people from east are at war, from western regions also, like Kuban is a very warrior part of country with cossack traditions. What is true, more people from countryside and small town are on front lines. It's not some kind of evil plot, just as everywhere, people in small places are more conservative, less educated, more likely to work physically. But center of Moscow, you see more girls not because of the war

Most Russian women go to full time work.
