Don’t forget all the women that are diagnosed with post natal depression. Far easier to claim that they are mentally ill instead of just exhausted from living with men that do nothing.

And have money stashed somewhere incase it doesn’t work and you need an abortion. Or a friend needs one. In my understanding, the MAP only works if you haven’t ovulated yet, so it’s not a magic bullet. Have a plan incase you ever have to make the choice to have one.

There was a thread about what men really want yesterday. A big point was emotional support, so many comments about men pouring their heart out to FWBs and exes and being rejected. Erm... maybe don’t expect women that you aren’t in a committed relationship with to do emotional labour for you? Nowhere did anyone suggest that men should start supporting each other. It was all waaaah why won’t women do all the emotional labour for us.

In the UK the police cracked down on knives so men started going around throwing drain cleaner in each other’s faces. Maybe if women started doing that to rapists then the police would realise that pepper spray is safer for everyone.

I am an only child and I grew up with just my mum so I missed out on understanding a lot of social cues that you learn in bigger families. What I have learnt is that in life it is extremely rare for people to tell you what you have done wrong. Firstly, when you do that you put the onus and mental load on the other person which is exhausting. Secondly, in the rest of your social and work like people won’t tell you what you have done wrong or you have missed social cues, they will just not talk to…

They couldn’t work at a decent well paying job but many working class mothers also worked in some capacity. Cleaning, taking in ironing, book keeping, sewing, anything they could to keep their family afloat. My grandma went back to work night shifts as a nurse in the 1960s with 4 kids. Men have never been able to provide 100% yet women have always had to take care of 100%

Also, therapy isn’t a magic bullet. Kanye won’t get cured by the love of a good woman, or a therapist, or anyone. Kanye is mentally ill, he needs medication, a psychiatrist and maybe some time in as an inpatient. Mental illness can’t just be cured, they can mostly only be managed and only if the person has the self awareness and will to manage it. My dad is bipolar like Kanye is and the stress of looking after him killed my mum. This is why I am unapologetic about never dating someone with a men…

To be fair to the Vikings, I’ve read that when they came to England (pillaging or otherwise), English women preferred them to the local men because they bathed.

Anyone can buy a tattoo gun and do tattoos out of their garage. Trafficked women are often branded with tattoos.

Anecdotally I've heard that in medical situations women's pain gets ignored because when men are in pain they get violent. Women won't punch a nurse because they aren't getting pain medication quick enough.

I’ve just started Accutane. My dermatologist said he needed to make me aware of one of the latest widely reported side effects which were loss of libido and erectile disfunction in men, and he would only prescribe it I understood. This side effect is in a big banner on the page when I look at the NHS guidelines. Yet when I was prescribed birth control, not once was loss of libido mentioned, even though it is a common side effect and listed. When I spoke to my GP about he looked at me like I was …
