My final assignment is about Equal Pay.Relevant: Ask For A Raise? Most Women Hesitate It touches on how women don't ask as often and, when they do, are seen as being aggressive. | /r/MensRights | 12/04/12 06:59 PM
One simple thing you can do to reduce the amount of false rape accusations...Just to give my own opinion: I would only be turned off by promiscuity because of the increased exposure to STDs. That said, STD testing is all that is needed to make me happy...well, STD testing that shows someone is clean. | /r/MensRights | 17/07/10 02:21 PM
One simple thing you can do to reduce the amount of false rape accusations...Adorably so! My guess is that he went through your past submissions hoping to get some "dirt" on you. Hopefully the people in that thread just ignore him. | /r/MensRights | 17/07/10 01:58 AM
One simple thing you can do to reduce the amount of false rape accusations...You should see the trollicious crap he is posting in that thread now. Ridiculous. | /r/MensRights | 17/07/10 01:45 AM
The stereotype of men being the shallow gender doesn't seem to fit the OKCupid data.I could throw in some cursing to make it interesting. ;) | /r/MensRights | 15/07/10 05:00 PM
The stereotype of men being the shallow gender doesn't seem to fit the OKCupid data.I agreed that people in general are shallow. I was just offering up a possible reason for the shallow male stereotype to be more prevalent. | /r/MensRights | 15/07/10 04:45 PM
The stereotype of men being the shallow gender doesn't seem to fit the OKCupid data.I prefer being logical. To each, his/her own. | /r/MensRights | 15/07/10 03:59 PM
The stereotype of men being the shallow gender doesn't seem to fit the OKCupid data.Well, I wouldn't resort to talking about women in general; I would only bring it up if that is something that girl wants. Not all guys are totally concerned with looks, and not all girls are totally concerned with money. I feel like almost everyone is concerned to a certain point. But not everyone is fixated on it. I definitely wouldn't use the term "prostitutive nature" of women, unless you are looking to break up with said girl. | /r/MensRights | 15/07/10 12:27 PM
The stereotype of men being the shallow gender doesn't seem to fit the OKCupid data. They do get dates and so do guys who make crappy salaries. But if you put that information out there, people are going to be picky. It would be different if you met non-"ideal" partners out in the real world. You get to know the person and suddenly your checklist of various qualities doesn't matter as much. But this is OKCupid. Like I said, people are going to be picky. | /r/MensRights | 15/07/10 03:30 AM
The stereotype of men being the shallow gender doesn't seem to fit the OKCupid data. The only reason I can think that it may seem more common is because men are more open about seeking an attractive partner. But if a girl says out right that she is looking for wealth, it looks bad on her. I've known many guys who said what they want in a woman (looks wise). But only a few girls I know said that wealth was important (not rich, but well off enough to be comfortable). More women probably feel this way but don't vocalize it. | /r/MensRights | 15/07/10 03:25 AM
| -1 | The stereotype of men being the shallow gender doesn't seem to fit the OKCupid data.Correct; that is around ideal (depending on your height and muscle mass). What is your point? Edit: $40k/yr is by no means ideal. It is definitely below. | /r/MensRights | 15/07/10 03:12 AM |
The stereotype of men being the shallow gender doesn't seem to fit the OKCupid data.I hate to burst your bubble*, but people can be shallow. I've never heard of men being called the "shallow gender." Men seem to be constantly complaining about how women only want guys with money. On the flip of that, women complain about men only caring about looks. *Edit: bubble, not bubbly | /r/MensRights | 14/07/10 10:14 PM
| -2 | The stereotype of men being the shallow gender doesn't seem to fit the OKCupid data. You probably will. But are you going to want to meet women who seek out men only for money? Edit: Also, I can understand the $40k/yr. If you are out of college and aren't making at least this, you either are doing something wrong or are going after a passion, knowing that you won't be making much money. | /r/MensRights | 14/07/10 10:12 PM |
The Intellectual Capacity of WomenI think you are bringing up a point that most don't really want to think about. It has only been in the last few decades that women have even been encouraged to go to college. Hell, I still have some female cousins who are not allowed to seek higher education since they are only meant to be mothers. | /r/MensRights | 14/07/10 09:53 PM
