3	Infuriated by family court, no fault divorce, and support payments My ex makes significantly more than twice what I do. 50/50 custody. We split kid expenses 60/30 to give an idea of the difference. The state child support worksheet showed that she should be paying support to me of $130/month or so. The lawyers zeroed that out for dubious reasons, so now I pay her on average $150 per month in shared kid expenses. I didn’t fight it because I came out okay in other areas of the settlement, but that is absolutely a fat bs discount for her.	/r/Divorce_Men	07/11/25 10:06 PM
1	She Took the Kids to Church I could have posted this. Add a few years to the marriage, otherwise identical experience. 50/50 shared custody. My lawyer told me, in my circumstances, that a judge would take a very harsh view of her changing the kids’ religious upbringing without a coparenting discussion and agreement—at a minimum. Don’t bother trying to understand it other than how it affects your kids. That way is madness.	/r/Divorce_Men	03/11/25 12:13 AM
