What is a common opinion you hear from your own gender in PPD that you vehemently disagree with?Cmon you’re being overly pedantic. I’m talking Tinder and iPhones. Not match.com on your AOL dial up connection | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/03/21 11:46 PM
What is a common opinion you hear from your own gender in PPD that you vehemently disagree with? The virginity study was performed before online dating (2002). It’s been almost been 20 years since then. Would love to see a more updated study. 80/20 rule is brought on by mainly online dating. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/03/21 11:17 PM

What is the endgame of women demanding that men share labor more equally? If it's so unequal as it is, why not just remain single (or if you want children, just do it alone?)Yup. There is no concrete mechanism to enforce “good behavior” in a marriage other than threat of divorce. Ppl can lie in discussions and talk the talk. They can even do all the stuff they promise during the honeymoon phase. After that, there’s nothing stopping them from slacking off other than possibility of divorce. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/02/21 12:38 AM

If there’s any hesitation from your date, he’s/she’s just not that into you and you should eject immediatelyLooking at their phone during an awkward silence should result in an immediate rejection. So much disrespect with that maneuver. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/02/21 12:38 AM
If there’s any hesitation from your date, he’s/she’s just not that into you and you should eject immediatelyI haven’t but it’s not like women take hours to respond to their manager at work. If they did, manager would probably not promote them. So it’s really a matter of priorities. If she doesn’t treat you like a priority, she won’t respond quickly. Pretty simple. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/02/21 12:36 AM
If men want more opportunities for sex, why don’t they put the same amount of effort into grooming, self care and “glowing up” as most women do?Yup. Sounds like OP has never been to a gym before. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/02/21 03:48 PM
Women have a starry-eyed view of "careers" and are less likely to take on a breadwinner mindset3rd wave Feminism focuses on sexual liberation. That’s not rly a problem, but it is detrimental to the growth of one’s career prospects. Anyone who’s really hunkered down to work hard and compete with others to get a high paying job knows that relationships and casual sex takes time away from preparation. It’s rly hard to simply focus if you have relationships and sex on your mind all the time. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/02/21 08:19 PM
Women have a starry-eyed view of "careers" and are less likely to take on a breadwinner mindsetYup. It is mostly women from immigrant families that I see thriving in high paying careers. It can be said that immigrant families care less for feminist ideals as well. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/02/21 08:09 PM
Women have a starry-eyed view of "careers" and are less likely to take on a breadwinner mindsetI know this sub hates talking about race, but I find that most women who have high paying careers are 1st or 2nd gen Americans. Really makes me wonder whether Western values actually leads to better career aspects for women. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/02/21 04:49 PM

As the average American woman is 171lbs @ 5ft4 is wanting a slim girlfriend under 140lbs now considered "high standards?"That’s why this whole body positive moment is really insidious. | 1 | As the average American woman is 171lbs @ 5ft4 is wanting a slim girlfriend under 140lbs now considered "high standards?"Americans weight standards are so messed up. Y’all’s normal is considered overweight in East Asian countries. It’s pretty obvious to spot by looking at the tricep flab. I’d say even in big cities, most women in 20s have that tricep flab. For ref, I’m 6’1” male at 170 lbs lol. A bit skinny but this is pretty par for the course for non-obese countries. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/02/21 08:19 PM
Why percentage of people fall into each category?A lot of women date bc they’re bored. So do men but women have far more options. If men could be casual daters and fwb, they would. It’s just that they can’t due to their lack of options. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/02/21 04:04 PM

(Practically speaking)I think the ppl who agree with you grew up in a household where the parents clearly didn’t like each other vs ppl who grew up in an ideal household. | 2 | Is never being harassed worth never being liked? As a man, I’d rather be lonely. I’ve seen too many times how surplus of attention leads to negative effects on ones career prospects later in life. It’s so easy to get addicted to attention. It’s rly not that uncommon to see college or high school women spend 12 hours a day on their phone. Constant attention, good and bad, is a curse. Men, use your spare time to train for a marathon, build a business, learn a new language, make YouTube videos. You have so much freedom to do so! | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/02/21 05:12 AM |

Weekly Community Chat MegathreadYes these are all nice but it seems like the woman is just giving and not getting anything in return in this situation. Any man would take this situation but its simply not reality for those who have not reached peak success yet. Obviously no one is forcing me to have a relationship so I'm not complaining. I'm just saying we wouldn't see as many men complaining about female behavior if they had a purpose in life other than finding an SO. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/02/21 11:54 PM

It’s that feeling of importance/power/attention that drives me to continue working. But I’d like to know your thoughts on what a meaningful and fruitful relationship entails? | 2 | Weekly Community Chat MegathreadHere's my logic: Most men want a relationship and not just sex because they truly desire the intimacy rather than the physical sensation; Men are not robots. They desire intimacy because their life is boring and need something to fill that boredom. Video games and other hobbies can fill that boredom, but nothing is as addicting as intimacy, power, attention. Power and sustained attention for men requires immense amount of work and time investment. As a result, intimacy is a far more low-hanging … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/02/21 09:22 PM |
Weekly Community Chat MegathreadIdeally, the woman emotionally supports you and gives you sex while you do more productive things. Women generally suck at giving emotional support to men, so it's usually just sex, but the reliable sex is still valuable. No reasonable woman will sign up for this unless you're a celebrity. If you don't have the right genetics, getting casual sex is an even bigger time sink. So without a girlfriend, you either become celibate or put in even more effort to get casual sex. Agreed. And even if this was true, you inherently agree with me that people with a purpose only care about the sex and don't give a rats ass about a relationship. Unless the guy is super high status, like he's the owner of a fortune 500 company, no regular woman cares that you own a business. Most will say that they don't have time for a relationship and enjoy spending hours on end growing their business. The feeling of working on something that hundreds, thousands, or even millions of people use/benefit from is a feeling like none other. | 0 | Weekly Community Chat MegathreadRight. The only reason for a relationship is to have kids. That I can agree with but is also common sense. | 2 | Weekly Community Chat MegathreadToo lazy to make a post about this but men who desire a LTR are simply bored with their life. I rarely, if ever, have seen a relationship that leads to improved productivity on the man's side. | 8 | Will TRP take off, and skyrocket in popularity in the future? They say that RP has reached its peak yet also say more and more men will only entertain a “Netflix and chill” nowadays. The writing on the wall is clear. Men who can get laid are trying less hard while men who can’t are seeking outlets like RP channels. The amount of growth I’ve seen from RP personas on YouTube in the past year is frankly astounding. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/02/21 12:43 AM

Will TRP take off, and skyrocket in popularity in the future?Being whipped usually referred to someone already in a relationship. The term simp took it to a whole new level. | 2 | CMV: The more high value the man is , the more likely he is to want a woman with a good jobYeah past a certain income it doesn’t rly matter. I’d say around 100k. That’s enough signal for me to know that you’re a hard worker and have your head on straight. After that it’s attractiveness and feeling in control of the relationship. Will admit that having a wife with higher income does hurt the male ego. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/02/21 03:28 AM

CMV: The more high value the man is , the more likely he is to want a woman with a good jobExactly. Being sweet and feminine can easily be faked just to get the marriage. You can’t fake a good job and good income (or at least it’s much harder to fake lol) | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/02/21 10:17 PM
CMV: The more high value the man is , the more likely he is to want a woman with a good jobAgree with Aldabruzzo here. Your “intellect” or “habits” don’t mean anything if you can’t get a good job or nice benefits out of it. I know plenty of educated college women who are by definition “smart”, but have nothing to show for it. I want to see my partner walk the talk and not just talk the talk. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/02/21 10:11 PM

What are your standards? Other commenters, are these standards reasonable? What’s the difference between taking care of 10 animals vs gaming. Could easily replace one with the other. Your life just seems overly hectic ngl. It’s nice to have a partner where you can lay back and spend time on things that aren’t so serious like moving, career, etc. Also most relationships do get boring after the honeymoon phase and ppl find ways to fill that time with whatever endeavors they plan. I make money, I pay rent, I invest. What else is there to discuss? If you have kids that’s a different story but we’re talking about LTRs, not baby-making. Some guys just want to enjoy life and want a partner who will enjoy it with them. I see nothing wrong with that. Just talk? We wouldn’t even have things to talk about without similar hobbies 😂😂 Seems odd to me that many women like talking about complementary traits. We make friends based on similarities rather than differences so why should that be different for choosing a partner. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/01/21 07:14 PM
What are your standards? Other commenters, are these standards reasonable? If a guy has gaming as a hobby, what’s wrong with sharing that hobby with a gf? I find that ask fairly reasonable. Also most guys literally do want a bro with a coochie. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/01/21 07:04 PM

Who benefits more from relationships / marriage? The man or the woman? There's no reason to marry unless you want children. Agreed. As for prenups, what you said is why I think just the proposition of a prenup serves most of its purpose. If she isn’t comfortable with a prenup, that’s immediately zero chance of a marriage. Maybe women will catch on this bluff in the future, but for now most are ignorant about prenups because most dudes are BPed and wouldn’t even think of getting a prenup. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/01/21 05:18 PM
Who benefits more from relationships / marriage? The man or the woman?Yeah lots of things to consider. Practically speaking, what men can do to protect themselves is to get a prenup and ensure separation of bank accounts. Sometimes, the mere reaction to both of these propositions from the woman can reveal a whole lot in the relationship. Those that do not do this are entrusting their fate to blind trust. Sometimes that strategy works out but I myself am too risk averse for that. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/01/21 05:03 PM
Who benefits more from relationships / marriage? The man or the woman? There definitely needs to be a differentiation between men who have or don’t have something to lose from divorce. I feel that many women claim marriage is worse for the woman because the husband was never really high status to begin with. I think there’s a statistic where high earning households end up far less in divorce than low earning ones. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/01/21 04:33 PM
Who benefits more from relationships / marriage? The man or the woman?I’m experiencing a lot of cognitive dissonance right now. Most independent men with a purpose in life don’t place huge importance on marriage unless their goal is to raise a family. Also in many threads in ppd, many women advocate for marriage (usually for DINK lifestyle). So it’s like I’m seeing women on the whole want marriage more but women benefit less? I think what’s going on is that women are marrying these men who are desperate for marriage and are regretting it afterwards. Because once t… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/01/21 04:04 PM

Just because women have more access to sex doesn't mean they have more access to SEXUAL PLEASUREI appreciate OP for replying to most comments! My perspective is that women don’t need to have casual sex. In some Asian countries, casual sex is not really a thing despite men being horny all the time. I once asked a friend about this. I said “Why do no women here like to hookup? Aren’t they horny?”. My friend responded, “They are horny for relationships”. So I think it’s worth noting that women, for the most part, are the gatekeepers for sex and relationships. If you don’t like casual sex, don… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/01/21 05:55 AM
