He doesn't have assets. He's working remotely for an American company which means he pays taxes and his check is deposited into a U.S. bank account with an address on record (this is the state where the State Department would direct the divorce case). This can be 'turned off' in a millisecond. I don't see ANY way out for him except to relinquish his U.S. citizenship BEFORE his kids are born.

Let me tell you something.....the legal system abhors you. It wants to separate you from your income/wealth/kids. There is absolutely NOTHING that you have on paper that will keep a judge from doing exactly the opposite of as a matter of normal procedure. Will the reverse be true? I've heard first hand accounts of soon to be ex wives being told by lawyers to call the police and say they were hit/abused in order to get the upper hand with custody and mitigate the impact of any physical cheating or draining of bank accounts etc. Man is automatically removed from the house and a protection order becomes easy.
