-5	I am a mother to be in three weeks to a baby boy, and I'm wondering, what is your take on circumcision as a circumcised/uncircumcised man? I wasn’t circumcised and I didn’t figure out until I was 20 that I had phimosis, the condition where the foreskin is attached to the glans. It was painful to have it corrected and I’m very happy without my foreskin. Clinically speaking foreskin increases the risk of STIs, bacterial, fungal and yeast infections. It also increase the risk of passing infections to their sexual partners. On a personal note, I don’t like foreskin on men but that’s just a taste preference.
