I don't think it's that women view sex as a commodity that they can exchange for something, but that (perhaps) it's men doing the commodification. It's hard to make any judgements on libido when women are shamed for being sexual, and thus may feel guilty about these feelings resulting in lower sex drives. Men, on the other hand, have the societal expectation of wanting sex 24/7.
