I suggest you look up what matricide means. Having it happen in your family despite it being completely preventable by (competent) law enforcement, end up on the news, be wrongly blamed for it, and yet be the one that had to deal and take care of all the aftermath (legal and otherwise) makes one realize that rights don't come without responsibility, which is what the vast majority of people dont have. There's various problems that can happen with internal surgery, plus many of them are hormonal. Vasectomies are literally an outpatient procedure that is safe, reliable, affordable, and somewhat painless that can pretty much guarantee no side effects; it only takes a google search to find some of the life threatening issues with IUDs.

I don't understand why we dont give male children vasectomies before puberty and have an option to reverse at 25. Would likely solve almost every problem the country has.

This is why i was taught to never spend more than 20 dollars on a date. 12 dollars for movie tickets, 6 bucks for McDonald's, 2 bucks for condoms.
