First off, that is a disgraceful article. Whoever wrote is not a professional journalist but rather someone wanting to "report" on a piece of news to paint a picture. In most countries, this is called scandalized and biased journalism. The bottom line is that this is the reality for some (not all) of these cases that are reported as rape. Second, the girl's father is a true human being. Before being a father, he realized he is a human and served justice. Third, we really need to be careful when …

Thank you for sharing this and expressing your honest opinion. I think we can all agree that it takes very little for humans to start being toxic to each other. That is the unfortunate reality of modern dating. But there are still great women and men out there. Never become jaded or salty about the opposite gender. Never let one or two bad experiences determine your view on dating. Don't let an idea get misshapen and taken to an extreme. True OG feminists and MRA's will soundly agree with your o…

Good. Give her the same consequences that the "alleged" offenders would have gotten. Then make her financially compensate the falsely accused parties. Then publicly shame her and make her an example for everyone to see. Hopefully, this stops false accusations.

Mental Health affects men more than it does women. Men have fewer resources and outreach. Added to which men are prejudiced if you seek help. That is what needs to change, not gun control. Modern Man Advice

Talk to a lawyer and hire her/him. Seeking free advice on an online forum is a waste of time and if anything won't play in your favor if happen to open your mouth more than you should, which should be zero. Modern Man Advice

This is true. We, as human beings, are social creatures by nature. We need a community, a family, and a tribe to belong to. We are not wolves. Although some of us do genuinely enjoy our solitude and walk the Earth mostly alone, human connection is highly beneficial to our mental health. Isolation can be detrimental and harmful to one's mental health. And unfortunately, men over their 30s are finding it harder and harder to create and maintain social groups. However, this is generally true for pe…

I think the two keywords are: Weaponized and equity Society, in general, has placed great efforts to feminize society in the name of equality without having a proper concept of equality. In modern times, we tend to use a lot of "trendy" words and worse hashtag whatever for every little emotion and thought that pop in our heads. Simply put, we have a generation of adult children unwilling and unprepared to engage in these conversations without becoming offended and therefore defensive, and subseq…

A lot of it might be just pure jealousy/envy. Some of it might be feeling like you will get bored and dump eventually if you have your life together and they don't. The "you're too good to be true" has happened to me several times. Also, the "I bet you do this with every girl so you're a manw**e". Bottom line, I only invest time/energy with people that see value in being in each other's lives. That I can control, not other people's imagination or lack of perspective of me. Also, humility goes a …

Same as how it came to pregnancy. Not sure why this is complicated for women and men, if you have sex you are doing something that is meant for procreation. Simple: You have sex (woman+man) = Potential of new life People want to use each other's bodies to masturbate without the responsibility that it has carried since the beginning of our species. Regarding your question, like I said it is 50/50. It took a penis and a vagina. There is no new life without sperm+egg. Men should have an equal sayin…

I'm sorry this is happening to you. Assuming those are in fact false allegations your best move is to stay away from sharing, speaking, or discussing this in any way shape, or form either in person with anyone or worse in a forum like this one. It is a tough spot to be in. So what you need is moral support from the manosphere community, those close to you, and your family. Again, assuming you are innocent you deserve all the support you can get. False allegations happen more often than you think…

This makes my blood boil. False accusations should carry the same repercussions as the proposed crime. She should not be able to walk away from it. She should be made an example and ruin her credit, reputation, school, career, and future employment. Not to mention jail time for lying under oath and damaging your reputation. Having said that, no it shouldn't. You won the case, you were cleared. It will show up in your record but as long as you are honest and upfront it shouldn't unless whoever is…

It's called logic or common sense. But the fascinating thing is that common sense is not common enough in society. Common sense breaks down when it meets an agenda or the human ego. Modern Man Advice

Absolutely step in the right direction. Let's just keep in mind this is coming from people that are well known to the public and hence the level of attention is getting. This is old news in the normal layers of society but most men who experience domestic abuse are not stepping forward. And that's where the true change needs to start, everyday men speaking up. She should be charged and prosecuted for sexual harassment and physical assault in the same way a man would if this was the other way around. @ Men, if this ever happens to you and you have a video such as this one, DO NOT let it slide. Report it and take it as far as you can to make things "fair" and "equal". Modern Man Advice

Your best bet is to make your story public. As another member suggested, spread the videos of her abuse through local media outlets. Above all, stay strong for your kid. If you are gonna go down, go down with a fight and your dignity intact. Modern Man Advice

It takes very little, on both sides: female and male. Unfortunately, within the legal system, men's outcome is far less optimistic. But Johnny is doing the right thing and standing up and fighting back. But he will need A LOT of evidence to things to go his way. Morally, society is often more "empathetic" towards women's abuse than men's. Hence there will be need to be a lot of tangible and concrete evidence. Modern Man Advice

I don't think the question matters. Any conversation that points fingers at either side will not bridge the gaps and forge progress. We need to focus on that, not the chicken/egg dilemma. Modern Man Advice

I would say so. Especially because of the former. It is easy for a woman to have drunken sex, feel shame, and then counterattack with a rape allegation. No questions will be asked from the police or judge and unless there are plenty of CCTV recordings you are most likely doomed. And even if proven innocent, your reputation, career, friends, etc will be long gone by then. It is also a mindset matter because you are solidifying the idea that sex is simply masturbating with somebody's body. It deva…

I said this in another forum, maybe this one can't remember, but masculinity is often ridiculed in times of peace and praised in times of war. And even in times of war, masculinity is seen as the root cause of such events. Without playing the victim card here, because that is not a trait men carry or should carry, but masculinity simply put is a scapegoat no matter the circumstance. All we can do is be men of strength, courage, honor, and mastery, let the pieces of the puzzle fall into place in …

You are right. Sometimes masculinity is blamed and/or ridiculed in war. As if the history of civilization was not forged by the blood, sweat, and courage of men.

Agreed. It is an unfortunate reality but modern feminism exists only when it benefits them, but not humanity as a whole. For example, in Switzerland women now get retirement at the same age as men. Some might say that is true equality, for those women it is called misogyny.

As despicable as that is, she is only displaying her rachet existence and mind for the world to see. You may call this modern natural selection but that type of behavior and belief system is not sustainable and will only perish over time. She is simply an undesirable human being that over time will X herself out.

Thank you for sharing that. The only way for progress is to rid of finger-pointing and victimization mentalities and behaviors. True equality is achievable if we strip away social constructs/narratives and simply have a genuinely curious conversation. By the way, we celebrate women's intl day as much as men's intl day. We recently posted a story on FB and IG about an organization that uplifts women (and men as well) called Kiva.org. Feel free to check it out and start being that change we need.

Sad but on the good side, this is an honest reflection of her mindset for the world to see. It is a "her" problem.

Finally! Although her verdict is far less severe than in cases where a male is falsely accused, this is progress. Many women who do this often get away with damaging someone's reputation and career based on lies. Just the same way many men get away with factual sexual abuse. It goes both ways. But it is nice to see she was somewhat punished.

Unfortunately, speaking your mind and even if your speaking truth and facts often don't fit well with those with an agenda and narrative. Some will say you're better off camouflaging but I believe integrity is more important than a grade. Speak your mind. Always.

Proud of you for opening up. What life comes down to is a choice. You choose how to view this experience, not saying run away from what you feel. But perhaps embrace it and turn it around. Few things: 1) Get yourself a better lawyer. Your chances are becoming slimmer the longer this lawyer is representing you. If money is an issue, find the solution. 2) Men's nature is that of problem solving. Men do not complain and whine, we problem solve. Take matters into your hands and make it happen. 3…

Aka a feminized society. Ironically, equality is something we are further and further moving away from.

Sadly. There are gaps and critical issues for both genders that need to be addressed. The problem is that anything masculine is often ridiculed and there is a toxic mentality around masculinity of "man up". Suicide rates, homelessness, work-related deaths, disability, etc, etc are often statistically speaking higher for men but men need to "man up". It has become a competition of how has suffered and now needs to suffer the most. An approach that will not bring progress for either gender. #mensw…

Because we live in a feminized society. Just like it is acceptable and often goes unpunished when women sexually harass men. It's a double standard. Despicable.

It's called entitlement. And the real problem is weak men idolizing and pedalstalizing women for their looks allowing a few women to feel entitled to high-value men and resources without adding anything of value to society. I wrote an article about this a few months ago: https://www.modernmanadvice.com/the-biggest-problem-with-women-today/

Yes, record her next time. File a complaint and tell them you feel discriminated against, threaten, and unable to fulfill your right to an education because of her gender hate. Most likely she will get a slap on her wrist, but at least you tried. If it was a male professor saying that it'd be a different ending but worth the try and fight. It is simply despicable and full of hatred. None of what she says will actually help fix any issues or bridge any gaps, she is making it worse. Not saying it …

That is mind-blowing, to say the least. How does that even make sense? I mean if the step-father has created a bond and feels the innate desire to provide that's one thing, but to legally force someone to pay child support for a child that is not biologically yours is beyond unacceptable. One of the many ways men get the short end of the stick in the legal system.

This is flawed logic. But to be factual, logic has never been a feminine trait throughout our evolution. Either way, this type of mindset isn't going to help her or anyone. Why focus on the problem and not how you can move forward? #masculinity #menswellness #mindsetcoaching #men #modernfeminism
