Again, unless you're the DJ, lead singer, CEO, movie star, pro athlete, model, hot women won't be offering themselves to you. Completely untrue, if your SMV is high enough. You don't have to be world class to get beautiful women.

Respectfully, I'll disagree. I used to think that in my younger years, now, as I approach 50, I can look back over the last few decades and see just how easy it is to attract women, so long as you are a quality man. Of the three women I'm currently seeing, two initiated the relationship with me, with no effort on my part, other than to say I was available.

I don't think that's a shower thought, I think it's reality.

I have to agree. Bernie is the only debater that could actually give Trump a run. Hillary will be easily flustered by him.

At 6"1", I definitely do get more respect from women.

I can't think of a single guy I know that hates sluts - unless the slut is his girlfriend/wife.

The point being raised here is: Guys are going to flirt with your girl. Deal with it If things escalate, and he's actively hitting on her, let her deal with it. If she doesn't deal with it, plate her, or move on. A guy friend goes beyond playful flirting, into actively hitting on her, don't 'warn him off' - discard him completely, immediately. By approaching Frank directly, you acknowledge he is your competition in your eyes, therefore increasing his SMV in HER eyes. Its self-defeating.

From the Golden Globes 2016: "I'm gonna be nice tonight," said Gervais. "I've changed. Not as much as Bruce Jenner, obviously. Now Caitlyn Jenner, of course." He continued: "What a year she's had. She became a role model for trans people everywhere, showing great bravery in breaking down barriers and destroying stereotypes." Then came the punchline: "She didn't do a lot for women drivers. But you can't have everything, can you? Not at the same time."

For the last six months or so, I've plowed through book after book, but downloading the audiobook version, and listening to it at double-speed - its the perfect speed to keep my attention while still allowing me to retain an understanding of what I just heard. Its so much more convenient - if I'm driving anywhere in the car, walking to the gym, or out running, I have an audiobook going. I still also have physical books that I read, but they are more for when I have spare time, and a need to rela…

You have to hand it to her - she has it all planned out. Too bad she spilled the beans before the contract was signed.

Careful with the science here - sunlight shuts off melatonin production, it does not trigger it. I am a big supporter of sunlight (in moderation) to help boost mood and Vitamin D production, and to help the circadiam rhythm, but its not a melatonin producer. http://www.healthline.com/health/depression/benefits-sunlight Sunlight shuts off the body’s production of melatonin, a hormone produced at night that makes you feel drowsy. Constant exposure to sunlight can help your body maintain its circad…

Alcohol is exactly what you called it - a tool. Something that can be used to benefit you, or expose you. Used as a social tool (beers with the boys), or to relax after a stressful day, its good. Used to cover up internal turmoil (dull the pain, overcome my social anxiety), it can easily be abused and expose the weaknesses that you have held inside. Also, keep being a positive role model for your friend. Hopefully in time, he will also realize being the drunken fool isn't the path to success.

Fair point. Keep in mind, though, that there are some men that do not need to work anymore (independently wealthy, retired, disability), that can do their hobbies everyday, and benefit from doing so. So many different walks of life here, but in the end, we are all men trying to make the best of ourselves, in our own way.

Within reason. People that select 'watching cartoons' or 'Netflixing' as their hobby are missing the point of hobbies. As for the OPs statement that 15 hours is overdoing it, I disagree completely. Some of my best days are when I completely immerse in what I'm doing, to the exclusion of everything else. Being in the flow moment, for extended periods of time.

Don't give her another thought. She probably hasn't thought about you since that encounter - why are you?

Solid advice. PUA stuff is built to allow you to play a 'role' in front of women. Don't act - become it. If you actually ARE the 'real' man, you don't need anything that PUA's use. You are the real deal. Focus on that.

Yep - reduce the bills. When I divorced (cordial divorce, I didn't get taken to the cleaners), I also took the opportunity to pare down the costs of everything I did, and start everything fresh with a new perspective. Eating out all but disappeared. I learned how to cook simple, cheap meals. Shopping for anything new was a luxury, not a regular payday occurance. Once I got my expenses in order, then I was able to reevaluate what I needed to do to keep that lifestyle. What I'm saying is, get your…

I spend a fair amount of my time alone, or with guy friends. No need to do the heavy lifting that way. But sometimes, its enjoyable to be the leader, be the one to say 'hey, jump on my back, lets go have an adventure together'. Then at the end of it - sex. Afterwards, I return to my life of doing my own thing.

Agreed. I have two sons in their late teens and early twenties, and I'm actively working in the concepts of RP with them, a bit at a time. There is a lot of deprogramming to do there, and there is some push back as they struggle with what society (ie women) are trying to get them to do and act like.

Sexual assault is bad, regardless of which sex does it. If I encounter a guy in person that is engaging in that, or actively promoting/supporting it as something acceptable, we are going to have words right away. Don't allow the TRP philosophy about "overcoming resistance" be translated into anything remotely physically intimidating. Using sexual assault to promote your own SJW agenda isn't acceptable. You don't have to support it in any way.

Agreed. As someone that has been a Dom (and would love to again), its something that I would recommend to anyone that enjoys control.

I would take it a step further and say that ego is the product of directing your attention (as in your "mind's eye" so to speak) on your sense of self. It's almost like a judgement of self. You're consciously assessing your own views and opinions of yourself. Well said, I'll agree with that. basically the nature of self-directed focus and judgement; it is inherently naval-gazing and self-referential in nature. Very true - thus the reason why letting go of it will allow you to see what's going on…

Ego, to me, is the sense of self, who and what I am, based on my past. The concept of mindfulness is to lose the ego, don't define yourself as anything, simply be open to what today, what this very moment has available to you. Its this openness, this lack of expectations, that allows you to see things as the 'really' are, instead of through the lens of the past, which clutters and contorts your view. Ego isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it is something that left unchecked makes reality difficu…

I agree - its not about giving up. It is a hard path, not for the faint of heart. But its freeing, and once you become established in the lifestyle, you begin to watch others 'stuck' in life, and pity them. Its about casting off all of the nonsense society has been spoon feeding us, trying to make us compliant, and instead, immersing yourself in your primal, evolutionary drives and desires.

Jesus, man, stop over thinking this. I like fixing things and helping people, so its a +1 for me. If its not for you, don't do it. Doesn't matter if its a girl, an old man, a child or a bro.

I enjoy fixing things, solving problems, and hearing someone say 'Thank you'. I'm fully capable of saying 'No' in the future if she tries to act entitled to future help. I'd have helped her, simply for my own enjoyment.

Agreed. If you have an asset that is increasing in value, and worth more than the debt, its fine in my books. Things that wear out or are gone quickly (cars, boats, food, clothes - non appreciating assets) = no debt.

It took me one divorce for me to wake up. Now that I see it, I'm cruising through my 40's with an LTR girlfriend, and a couple others on the side, that the LTR is aware of.

I'm all about self improvement at the moment, mentally and physically. Things I'm learning about/doing: Working out for muscle mass Losing weight Reading, both fiction and non-fiction Meditation My current passion is creative writing, learning all the nuances of how to write, short stories, even wrote a really crappy novel, just to see if I could finish it, which I did. Its unfortunate that it takes this level of a life event for some guys to learn the truth. But the important thing is, he seems to have learned the lesson, and can now make informed decisions from this point forward. Hopefully, others can be spared this kind of treatment by reading his story.
