It's just an idiotic statement made by people who have never actually given it a microsecond of thought. Imagine if men just decided to strike for a day. The entire world's male population decides it simply isn't going to go to work for one day. Or, better yet, one week. It would take exactly 20 minutes for the kind of people who say the sort of thing you bring up to realize how ignorant they really are.

Who the hell believes women don't have visibility in the music industry?

Well, I could "stop" saying it but it's still almost certainly true.

Lmao! Assures us he/she reads everything yet somehow misses the information written very clearly on the second slide. Well done. Confidently incorrect and continues to argue as though words ignored don't actually exist.

Isn't that what the OP said?

Honestly, Darth Vader isn't real and he's definitely evil. Not sure where you're going with that. As for evil looking women being,...pretty, that has to be a woman's perception because men will just avoid her entirely if they have the option. They don't usually appeal to us.

Maybe you should read the highlighted text before making that mis-observation.

So, were we oppressed when we couldn't vote a few years earlier? Because we had to get maimed and blown apart to get the vote while women just had to nag long enough and even when they got it, most of them didn't want it. As for work, well, plenty of women could always work but I won't deny there were systemic barriers that barred them from becoming certain kinds of professionals. Of course, up until not really that long ago, men had to take certain careers they didn't want but they couldn't swi…

Know what kills tens of thousands of men every year? Just about everything. So, with that in mind, circumcision is right at the bottom of any list I could potentially make as far as our order of priorities. It was just one example, really. The complaints in here were starting to look exactly like the standard feminist echo-chamber venting session than anything else. I'm not a woman and I don't have a compulsion for attention or a neurotic craving to be a victim. Sooner or later, the whine-fest t…

I don't care what drives you. All I said was that I don't and never did see what the big deal was and I got sick of seeing people treat it like it was the greatest crime ever committed against men. If I wanted to whine about every little petty annoyance under the sun, I'd become a feminist.
/r/MensRights12/08/26 07:37 AM

True but you certainly won't find feminists there. In fact, feminists can be seen defending those cultures because of their victim stack. Feminists are so brave that they're always ready to stand behind any wall while prepared to launch attacks on it from behind it.
/r/MensRights12/08/26 07:26 AM

Yeah but haven't you noticed that, currently, everything a Western woman doesn't like to hear is "misogyny"? They have no idea what the word really means and even if they did, like all radical movements, they make the argument about word definitions instead of the substance of any statement. Any way to worm their way out of accountability and self-reflection.
/r/MensRights11/08/26 06:53 PM

Well, if this is all you see them espousing, it seems to me that this is, defacto, "real" feminism.
/r/MensRights11/08/26 06:48 PM

And we're still having arguments in other threads that feminism isn't actually a hate movement training women to be lesbians and to hate men. "Feminism is just about equality!"

If only the myth of female oppression had any substance. There was an old social contract which feminists decided they didn't like. Okay, that's fair up to that point. With that social order, women didn't have particular rights but they did have far fewer responsibilities. Back in the day, when women did something wrong, their men were held accountable. Women nagged for the vote: men got their legs, arms and faces blown off for it. Nowadays, feminists act like women aren't simply the privileged …

I just answered it. Who said anything about feminist academics (a contradiction in terms, anyway)? Of course, it would make sense that you think of Cardi B as a feminist academic.
/r/MensRights11/08/26 03:19 PM

Yet, it is but you didn't really put any thought into it. Feminists and yourself, claim that women have always wanted to do everything men did. Nevertheless, now that they can, you still don't see them doing the tough, physically demanding jobs that men do. You guys still claim that they can do everything men can do but you don't see them setting human speed or strength records at the Olympics. Hell, I just saw a video of three female cops trying to apprehend one man. They had him surrounded yet…

/r/MensRights11/08/26 05:54 AM

No, because that has nothing to do with "patriarchy". That's the rich and powerful exploiting the poor. Women do the exact same thing so, by definition, there's nothing "patriarchal" about it. I should rephrase: yes, it's why feminists say it but it doesn't mean they have any clue what they're talking about.
/r/MensRights11/08/26 04:21 AM

The whole dowry thing is largely a thing of the past in China. You'll find it still in some rural areas but never in the cities of any size.

Well, it's not just perception: it's observation. Women have every right in law and government that can be provided. What else is there to demand that is so uniquely a female issue that it still requires the vilification of men? Bodily autonomy? Well, nobody is forcing women to go get blown apart in some distant war but nature has made pregnancy conclude with a birth unless we interfere and kill the baby. That's nature. Women still have more rights than men concerning reproduction, anyway. She c…

You're both close but wrong. I lived in China for over a decade. The favoritism for boys was purely pragmatic. In Chinese culture, the man supports not just his children but his parents in their old age. The woman gets married and takes care of her husband's parents in their old age. It's common sense that you'd want a boy because otherwise you're literally just raising somebody else's retirement plan while you're left with nothing.

I prefer to use the dictionary for word definitions and, in that case, it's whatever the dictionary says: a system of rules and law by men. Most feminists who make it online think it's the same except for one addition: a system of rules and laws by men for men. History has proven countless times that if it's a system by men, it definitely isn't for them unless they're extraordinarily wealthy.
/r/MensRights10/08/26 09:50 PM
36

Nope. They say things to lull you into taking a stance of reconciliation but at the end of the day, it's just part of their horse shit. For example, "patriarchy hurts men, too!" No, it doesn't. It doesn't because there is no such thing as a patriarchy in any Western country in the first place. The system is messed up and if you want to talk class war, I'm all ears but there's no male-led system designed to benefit males. In fact, no such system has ever existed. But if I buy into that BS line of…

Women care about this shit. Are men actually lonely? The only people I see making the claim are feminists and their weak male counterparts. Why? For the same reason women can't understand the response, " nothing" when they ask you what you're thinking about. Women are neurotic by nature. Truly. They think men share their compulsion for validation. We don't and they don't understand. Just like how they feel a need to fill up your day off with some bullshit you don't care about in any way, they se…

There are no contradictions in feminism if you boil it all down. All it is is, "give women everything". If you remember that, it's a straight line from their words to their actions.

Because it's in every facet of society. First, the conditions are created through brainwashing in the schools. Then it gets reinforced through media and, finally, it's just a matter of peer pressure. And men want to get laid. That's the big one.
/r/MensRights10/08/26 03:27 AM

No surprises. Feminists are always pushing some BS they made up that they then sell to a gullible population. They won't be happy even when %100 of everything goes to women and all males are in chains. Well, if we survive as a species, which, is doubtful if we, as a society, keep giving in to them.

Frankly, just match the energy. "You know, women are all more miserable than they've ever been in recorded history. That's their own fault." As far as this supposed loneliness "epidemic" among men: you know what? I've only ever read women in media claiming that men are experiencing epidemic levels of loneliness. Are we? I keep hearing it but I don't know what it's supposed to mean or look like. Men I know are perfectly happy to be left alone. That doesn't strike me as loneliness: it seems like m…

Okay, you need to pick a side because you're not making any sense. What do you think a "trad wife" means? Because, to everybody else, a trad wife is just a slightly shorter version of "traditional wife". Well, you can't call it traditional if it's just a recent fad. Also, a house wife isn't necessarily lazy. Just the Western ones. And most men don't need to be served by women without direct payment. Nobody needs women enslaved: we just need to stop teaching women to be masculine and men feminine…

Know what her mistake really was? Not knowing anything whatsoever about what men want. Since when have men ever cared about a woman's career? I mean, sure, by all means, have a career. I don't give a shit. But what I also don't give a shit about is how much money she makes. Why would I? We all know that my money is "our" money and her money is hers, so why the fuck would I give a shit if she has her idea of a great career or job? Seriously, does she want a man or a woman? Secondly, "trad wife" i…

You'll get downvoted because , while you're right that nobody says this anymore, in reality, in a pinch, it'll come out, you can be guaranteed. We also still see the general sentiment all the time. Watch any reporting from war zones and, if you're paying attention, you'll note that the reporter will often go out of his or her way to indicate how many women or children were injured or killed.

It's just an idea thrown in by lawmakers to attract more votes from women. Actual femicide is extremely rare and you almost never see it outside of serial killer types. I should point out that that's the Western context. I can't speak to other cultures.
/r/MensRights02/08/26 12:46 PM

Well, it's not a bit since we have countless examples of random women claiming they'd take the bear. That, however, is obviously selection bias on our part. The people showing you the clips have a vested interest in proving...something. What it proves to me is that most women who do OnlyFans are bimbos and too stupid to remain alive without active intervention from men, anyway.
/r/MensRights02/08/26 12:42 PM

Because they don't mean you: they want the hottest guys in their city to do it. When you do it, it's a crime. When they do it, it's okay. Of course, these days, the only men willing to approach women are either very attractive or creepy by nature, so the women kind of have a point. They lose that extension of goodwill, however, when you remember that it was they, themselves, that created this situation in the first place.
/r/MensRights02/08/26 12:38 PM

Only if they have policies with broad appeal. Considering the Western trend towards conservatism, this would probably destroy the Labour party and make any recovery impossible. The reality is that only the "soy boys" would agree to it in the first place.
/r/MensRights02/08/26 12:35 PM

Well, have you noticed that pretty much everything that Western women don't like is labelled misogyny by them? The point being that it's an unavoidable charge since most Western women have no idea what the word actually means. They can point to the dictionary but they don't realize that it's not the arbiter of what words mean, it's just the catalogue. They change the definition, it records the change. So, basically, stupid people are making the rules as per Idiocracy. The good news is that, even…

I don't know if she deserves jail and I don't really care if she gets that. However, what I think is important is that she is found guilty. That's the message that needs to be sent. Just the fact that a woman can be charged and found guilty is enough for me.

Yeah, I just saw how some feminist was telling everybody about how women getting charged with DV was really misogyny. It's always about them. Nobody else is allowed to get any attention or to have their needs addressed. Feminism is a giant pile of stinking, steaming, corn infested shit dumped on society by the most selfish members of it.
/r/MensRights02/08/26 02:37 AM

I'm sick of this bullshit argument. It's just semantics. Women choose the definition of feminism they like most when it's convenient. I don't care what you claim the definition is. Never did. I care what people do in the name of it. That's the plague. Name one net positive for society that feminism has provided. Just one. It's a movement of the selfish for the selfish. That's all it ever was. Don't argue with me because I don't give a shit about rehashing the same tired old arguments and strawma…

Well, I, for one, now refuse to even grudgingly call myself a feminist on technical grounds. Feminism is, hands down, the worst thing to happen to both men and women in the history of humanity. Not one thing it promised or lied to achieve has proven beneficial in any way on balance. Women are more miserable than they've ever been in recorded history. Families are dwindling. The birth rate has tanked to well below replacement. Single parent households are destroying the Western world. Women now w…

What a load of BS. What you're trying to do is reframe it so that, once again, "world ends: women most affected!" This is just the usual feminist crap dressed up to appeal to the weaker minded men out there. It's also conveniently self-serving.

I'm with you on this but leave HR out of it. Remember who runs every HR department in the world. They're not going to do anything, anyway. In future, you might want to simply say you don't understand what's being referenced. "The context of what?" is what I wanted to know, which, in fairness to you, I, myself, didn't clarify. In any case, I don't know who did the interview but it was Elliot expounding on what he thinks men need to do so that masculinity becomes more feminine. That's what I got out of it, anyway. I'm sure you can find it easily on YouTube.

If I spent 30 years as a man and then decided I was a woman, WTF would I know about being a woman? That's the context. Elliot Page doesn't and won't ever know the first thing about the male experience.

You know what? Why don't we just give these women everything and start our own parallel system? They can build and maintain their own infrastructure, run their own economies, pay for it all themselves and leave us the fuck alone. That's what they want, after all and I can't think of who would be unhappy about it. It would work for about a week, too. Then they'd complain about everything, have no clue how to do anything, and ask to be let in to our system like before. This time, however, we'd be …

Yeah, that's what would make sense but they just keep pushing their agenda no matter how much it costs them. As a 50 year old, the erasure of boys and anything male in popular culture has been a work in progress since at least 1980. You'll notice that in any commercial, nothing bad happens to the women. Always the men that are the butt of the joke and on the losing end of any interaction. In TV, strong, leading men are long gone. In movies, a thinking man is an ancient myth. If you didn't know any better, you'd assume that the idea was to simply make men and the male contribution vanish. Rewriting hist…

The same way men are the blame for everything else in the world: the "patriarchy". It doesn't have to be true or really exist, feminists just have to rationalize it somehow and, for some completely inexplicable reason, the mainstream media will push it on their agenda.
/r/MensRights26/07/26 08:10 PM

Well, I guess some men are weaker than some women but, as far as the statistics are concerned, they're roughly like %1 - %5 of the male population. As to how harmful it is...? Honestly, I just get tired of this place turning into a feminist space using feminist thinking and the never ending complaining about such minor things. Men have always been given the same message which is to just deal with it. The problem is that we don't tell women the same.
/r/MensRights26/07/26 08:09 PM

What difference does it make? Feminists will call it misogyny either way. If they can't open a pickle jar, that's misogyny. If they get a ticket for speeding, it's misogyny. If they hit men and get arrested for it, that's misogyny. I actually had an argument on exactly that final example just last week.
