When I found out my LTR of 8 years had cheated, I let her stay in my life. It ended of course...a few months later. What followed that was a 9 year alcohol-fueled anger-phase. A tan might help...but other than surgery, the only thing that will help loose skin is training and time. I'm in the same boat after losing 60 lbs and being 39, and I still have more to go. This guy says not to think about surgery until you hit the 10% body fat mark. I found the article useful when I was down about the loose skin.
