Adding a male only lounge would have solved the current issue of discrimination against men. They abandoned it because it could have opened them up to future problems. Constantly attacking your audience with vile insults doesn't seem to be a profitable strategy after all Basically the female Ghostbusters generalize along with Jimmy Kimmel that everyone who is critiquing the movie has a problem with women be Ghostbusters. While some did say this, most people had legitimate criticisms of the movie.
