You can build a family out of a thriving business. Get good at something. Parlay that into self employment. Parlay that into becoming an employer. Create the kind of job for others that you would want to have. Care about people. Outfit them with what they need to be successful in their own lives. Finding a partner is what happens along the way, while you're doing things to benefit the world around you.

Was going to comment "The term woman child doesn't exist, because it's redundant".

There is also this missing component, the way life is enhanced when you share your life with someone who thinks just a bit differently, approaches life a bit differently. You complement one another in ways that would not be so if you didn't have one another. You make happy sacrifices you wouldn't consider making on your own. You live life with a greater sense of purpose, because, while perhaps not all of the time, you care about that person and their well being even more than you care about your…

Also implying that evolution is a personal choice, and not a natural phenomenon. I can assure you that if I could choose to evolve, I'd be a foot taller, have several more fingers, and a way bigger unit.

Lawyer up and file your own HR claim for her creating a hostile work environment. Log every interaction you can, preferably on video or audio. Do all you can to ensure a third party is present during any conversation (do not announce this), and, if need be, have your lawyer speak to your HR rep. (do not announce this either)

Which, for many, is the very reason they claim to hold such great disdain for men. It's a popular sentiment, so it is expressed in certain company in order to fit in. Sometimes, they believe it entirely. Other times, they'll act as if nothing could be further from the truth. It all depends on what suits the situation. Many women are a layered ball of confusion, and even not knowing how to figure out their misleading ways is something they'll hold against you. It's a related aspect of not having …

Feminism has long been more about bigotry and misandry than equality. The way you know is you're not allowed to say it.

Trauma from violence is real, and I respect that. But, if you've never been a victim of it in the circumstances you describe, and your fear is based on stories you've heard, that fear is your responsibility. I don't have an obligation in another's malformed opinion of who I am. In other words, I refuse to support your prejudice against me, lady.

I absolutely agree. It's high time anyone claiming to be feminist is regarded with the same vitriolic disgust reserved for anyone who claims to be racist. A person can be forgiven if they misspeak, but the true definition of the word needs to be understood, without a scrap of doubt, as to what the proclaiming individual is saying about how they think and live. As an intolerant bigot.

It just doesn't look good on a guy to go around punching down this way. Calling women vile evil trash or whatever one may come up with is childish, and makes a man look weak. No, better to keep it to yourself.

I'm just over here noticing how this header comment seems to infer that racism can only be directed towards black men.

Oh, the irony of promoting the lesser qualified, then labeling it "progressive", when it is quite literally the opposite.

I think it's just one other way in which many women show that they believe they have a right to judge every facet of any man they choose, and can't be held accountable, because in every instance they either have an extremely personal or broad, female centric, excuse. If none of that works, they'll just ignore the man who points it out because their opinion is not to be respected, or they will cry in order to deflect.

It absolutely is. Just because men are tough enough to take the abuse, and most women are not really strong enough to leave bruises, doesn't mean women don't act out violently when they feel so inclined. It doesn't get reported, so these women rely on false stats in order to be right, or win the debate.

I don't want a strong, independent woman. I want a woman strong enough to be dependent, and strong enough to depend on. I get there's a great many cautionary tales for women regarding bad partners and marriage going south, but women cheat and beat too. I'm tired of men carrying the burdens of shit reputation. It always takes two to tango.

I understand where you're coming from, but you cannot compare your experience to the experience of others, because you never know the whole story. You can probably reach the top shelf of the cabinet. You can probably huck the garbage over the top of the dumpster to get it in. These are just silly examples but examples of benefits of your manhood you're overlooking. It's bad for everyone, my friend. You have to actively seek the good, focus on the good, obsess about the good when you find it. The…

Women collectively draw back to throw a punch at their perceived enemy, and accidentally elbow their perceived ally in the face. Classic.

Assuming the proper context, "and who created that system" is just another tool of deception, used to misdirect, in order to thwart a (typically) valid point made. At least, that's when I've heard it used the most.

Women in service, in the field, from what I understand, can create an environment that is tricky and cumbersome to navigate. There are a completely different set of rules and obligations that can serve as setbacks the male soldiers shouldn't have to navigate. Often, they are to the detriment of the unit. I agree that if service is compulsory for men, women should share that obligation. However, they should be utilized intelligently, and in a manner that speaks to their abilities and is not a hin…

The poisoning coffee shtick was lifted from the plot of 9 to 5, an '80s film starring Dolly Parton. Three female office employees conspire to murder their boss.

People assume it's the man's responsibility to do hard labor and even life threatening work, as if the notion that the work is available so it must be 1) their own fault they find themselves in the situation that requires this kind of effort, and 2) something they should be grateful for, an opportunity to earn the money.
