Well in the book it says to cater the rules to your situation. So in today's environment I think I would return most calls but skip one on occasion and return like 80% of texts.

If he does go in for the kiss and you give him the cheek, but you do like him, I WOULD explain that you haven't kissed a man before and you want it to be special, because then it could be special for both of you! No need to be ashamed. I think it's beautiful the position you're in. Edited for spelling.

The rules talk about "hard to get but easy to be with". So you are encouraged to be cheerful, (relatively) cooperative and happy to see the guy.

There's also a Rules for Marriage or a book about Rules marriages I found interesting. (I mean like for better and for worse because some of the marriages I thought were a bit dysfunctional. 😂) But great for perspective.

I love that book. I don't know if it still works to the letter but I think the basic principles are SO important. And you could catch a really good guy by following them. Some guys are so spoiled by Tinder and haphazard texting relationships, I think you'd weed out a bunch of those using the Rules.

Every night I tell my husband "want to bring our teeth together?" And I always rub his back with my other hand while brushing or poke at him and act silly, step on his foot or do different stuff. It's a whole fun tradition. So we always brush at night.

Yes I'm so glad she mentioned the open relationship thing. He sounds like a Peter Pan.

I don't think so. I'm married and have a great sex life with my husband. But I think if I didn't masturbate sometimes, I would expect too much from him and become bitter. I don't watch porn and I don't over indulge, but sometimes it really improves my mood/demeanor. And in tantra, male orgasms drain tantric energy, but female orgasms increase it. So whatever that's worth. 🤷 Also, I do NOT think masturbating leads to less sensitive lady parts - unless you're using a vibrator. I actually think ver…

Maybe, but also might be an important lesson before meeting the ACTUAL love of your life. That's what happened to me anyway. Someone I thought was "the one" left me and ... I don't know, he wasn't the one! If this guy left you he probably doesn't value you the way the one who's truly made for you will.

Lol oh man. I totally feel you but you might not like my answer. If you want a happy marriage, for the most part, you gotta let him lead - which can also be read as: let him make mistakes and screw stuff up. At least when you do that, he'll be cursing the consequences of his own actions (and possibly learn something new), instead of thinking you're the problem. I know it sucks. My husband is terrible with directions (not to talk bad about him, but as an example) but he insists he knows where he'…

Nahh. I actually started reading red pill stuff for men FIRST, like 10 years ago and it really woke me up to a lot of concepts I had never considered, and improved my life. I do think a lot of those guys, similar to the MGTOW community are reacting to being burned in the past, and it's very common and no one other than other red pilled men seem to really care, so there's a lot of resentment that comes through. But I think a lot of their complaints are for the most part pretty valid, although a l…

My favorite book on this that I read over and over and always get something new out of, is Pema Chodron's Start Where You Are: A Guide to Compassionate Living.

I feel like I have a very similar problem with immaturity and speaking without thinking. But at least you recognize the issue and recognize the importance of working on it - that self-reflection puts you ahead of most people. One thing that might help you with becoming more thoughtful and measured is practicing meditation. Because in meditation, you are kindof breaking the habit of going along with your intrusive thoughts. Like just because a mean or insecure thought comes into your head, doesn'…

Yay! Thanks for the tips and the videos. Umm well I love vintage folk music. This one lady Vashti Bunyan's pastoral themed tunes always help me find joy in feminine pursuits like cleaning or cooking. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2i5vxd

Oh noooo!!! I honestly can't shop in the presence of anyone, I just find it way too distracting. Wow, isn't it crazy how the stuff our mom says sticks with us FOREVER. I have a lot of insecurities from my mom as well, not really about what I look like but other stuff.

Congratulations on losing so much weight! Even if you gained some back, I think that's pretty typical. I would watch a ton of Youtube videos on makeup and hair because you can find out EVERYTHING you need to know. The people at Sephora can also be extremely helpful and they'll give you samples. That's why I think even though the makeup is more expensive, you will no doubt only buy what you love, and they have a great return policy if something doesn't work out (which is kindof unheard of with ma…

:-P I agree. People flat do NOT believe me sometimes when I tell them my age. But I still know I'm older and am getting my ducks in a row to hopefully conceive soon.

That's true. But I did notice that with the "10 year challenge" on Facebook recently, my redpilled female friends are aging a LOT better than most other women. :-P
