Feminist Who Said Men Should be Put in "Camps" Says "Misogyny" Behind her Ban from DebateThis doesn't apply to politics. The term does have a legit use when it comes to dysfunctional families. Authoritarian propaganda is the term you're looking for. | /r/MensRights | 10/10/15 09:14 PM
Are there any anti-RP people here?made her insecure with your relationship (TRP) This is what's going to bite most RPers in the ass later. I'd honestly bet money that anyone who relies on this strategy will still end up divorced. You can't make anyone love you. You can only love yourself. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/07/15 09:13 PM
TRP is written in an optimized way to help the men that seek and need it, not to be widely accepted by everyoneIt's not anymore helpful than a generic advice column. It encourages maladaptive coping mechanisms. Particularly emotional masking (don't let her see your weaknesses, be the captain, etc) and experiential avoidance ("it's just female nature to act that way," AWALT, focus on high SMV, etc). These are present in more than just "anger phase" posts. No one besides a licensed psychologist could help a lot of these guys who've been abused or had really turbulent social experiences. Anyone who's had th… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/06/15 01:41 AM
Why are the majority of posts linked on TheBluePill fringe posts with little upvotes? When the stickied post at any point in time proclaims, "Women are children!" it's basically game over. You could have the the most reasonable comments in the world but if there's no push back in the community against something like that, I think it's clear that self-improvement is an after thought. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/02/15 01:43 PM
Both "pills"; could you explain to me (high functioning autism spectrum disorder) the point of TRP?Pretty sure it was a spelling mistake and Xenas meant unattractive. It was a pretty obvious low blow. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/10/14 04:03 PM
Both "pills"; could you explain to me (high functioning autism spectrum disorder) the point of TRP?That's not a good analogy. Attraction is subjective and different for every person. Implying that cognitive dissonance is the reason for this is absurd. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/10/14 03:58 PM
Both "pills"; could you explain to me (high functioning autism spectrum disorder) the point of TRP?upper hand highest SMV Yeah, they're looking for insecure and attractive women. We don't seem to disagree here. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/10/14 09:45 AM
Both "pills"; could you explain to me (high functioning autism spectrum disorder) the point of TRP?I'll skip the pissing contest and say that I'd rather be with her than some insecure 9/10 who needs my validation for every little thing she does. I'll let TRP keep the clingy ones for themselves. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/10/14 03:58 AM
Both "pills"; could you explain to me (high functioning autism spectrum disorder) the point of TRP?This aspie with a girlfriend disagrees hahaha. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/10/14 01:19 AM
Treating someone 'like a human being': substance vs platitudes. It's simple: there's no formula for dating. Even if your particular method is successful, you can't generalize in terms of half of the population . Class, location, gender, race, religion, culture, and other variables will greatly influence who you're exposed to and how they react to you. If you're really entrenched in a certain ideology, you'll probably have sone issues with confirmation bias as well. So, all people are trying to convey is that you shouldn't assume all women are the same. Stati… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/06/14 05:28 PM
Women do you feel any shame when someone calls you a slut or perceives you as a slut? Not at all honestly. Being preoccupied with someone else's sex life is very weird/obsessive to me. Unless they're breaking the law, what goes on in their bedroom is none of your damn business. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/06/14 07:32 PM
What are some challenges you have faced due to your world view?I used to be a lot more "RP" but this was before TRP was even a thing. Then I attended college and realized the world view I'd grown up with was pretty backwards. Had a bit of a struggle but now I'm in a great LTR. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/06/14 01:53 AM
| -1 | What would it take for you to switch positions?Wow. This is /r/purplepilldebate so you could at least respect the rules and respond with something coherent. If your only response is this, then it's pretty clear your don't have have a leg to stand on. Although I'll admit I'm not surprised. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/06/14 01:41 AM |
What would it take for you to switch positions?Again, this isn't RP. This is you noticing something and contributing it to RP philosophy because you like it. In reality, one does not need TRP to understand this. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/06/14 11:04 PM
What would it take for you to switch positions?Standing up to your SO isn't RP. It's a genetic form of advise found in pretty much any self help book on relationships. I assumed you meant she was actually RP. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/06/14 10:53 PM
What would it take for you to switch positions?in the closet Your example isn't what I'm talking about at all. I'm talking about men being shamed for coming out because "nobody cares" or to prevent a perceived loss in social status. seducing straight guys Again, I'm not talking about your painfully obvious example. I'm talking about men being encouraged to "seduce" (manipulate) straight men into sleeping with them. At least read the subreddit before you try to argue in favor of it. LGBT communities excluding heterosexuals Uh, there's this th… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/06/14 10:50 PM
What would it take for you to switch positions?Citations needed. RP psychology is cringe worthy. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/06/14 10:19 PM
What would it take for you to switch positions?I never said lesbians couldn't be assholes | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/06/14 10:06 PM
What would it take for you to switch positions? You mean AltTRP? That subreddit has some pretty bad advice (staying in the closet, trying to seduce straight men, etc). Like that could seriously mess someone up psychologically. Additionally, it's only for gay men and still excludes other branches of the LGBT community. There was a thread recently on TRP about male homosexuality being the only legitimate alternate sexuality. Trans women and men are bashed pretty heavily when the subject comes up. You can't cherry pick one group and claim to be … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/06/14 05:12 PM
What would it take for you to switch positions?I'm a lesbian. TRP doesn't like LGBT people in general, but lesbians get a lot of hate there in comparison to other groups. That was the reason given for my preemptive ban from RPW as well. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/06/14 11:34 PM
What would it take for you to switch positions?Considering RP says I don't exist, I'm not sure if it's possible to switch sides. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/06/14 10:43 PM
What is TBP to you?BP mentality is basically anything other than TRP mentality. I find the term problematic because it could embody so many different ideologies. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/06/14 05:35 PM
RSDTyler video demonstrates RP theory in the context of a nightclub. If BPers do not accept that humans relate to eachother in the manner suggested by RP then what are your alternative explanations for what goes on in the video? How is an edited video by some random dude empirical evidence? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/06/14 05:23 PM
So what are the practical differences between RP/BP in dating/behavior?Being anti-TRP would count I suppose but that's very broad. What rhetoric of BP is official? The sidebar is all joke links and, hilariously enough, many of the contributers are in the anti-SRS camp so feminism is a no go. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/06/14 10:15 PM
Thread on askwomen asks about dating "out of your league." How is this not referring to SMV disparities?Fat fetishes are a thing. Not super common but it exists. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/06/14 07:13 PM
So what are the practical differences between RP/BP in dating/behavior?BP has no rhetoric therefore this question can't be answered. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/06/14 07:06 PM
To non Red Pillers, do you believe that evolutionary logic is a sound basis for examining how humans choose partners?IMO nature vs. nurture is a dumb concept. It's obviously both. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/06/14 05:56 PM
To non Red Pillers, do you believe that evolutionary logic is a sound basis for examining how humans choose partners? The problem with evolutionary psychology is that it can only give us information about the past. This is useful to a degree, but it doesn't tell us a lot about the present. Lack of empirical evidence is also an issue. Developmental, cognitive, and biopsychology are better suited for this. I think TRP puts waaaaaaay too much faith in genetics and biology in general. Sure, men and women have differences in order to procreate, but these differences are going to vary greatly from person to person. T… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/06/14 05:45 PM
Can we put something in the sidebar to explain how we're not even remotely related to the red pill?Except what I said doesn't apply to just women... Honestly can't tell if you're trolling or being serious. | /r/MensRights | 04/06/14 08:29 PM
| -1 | Can we put something in the sidebar to explain how we're not even remotely related to the red pill?18 year olds aren't technically adults. A ton of development goes on in the cognitive regions of the brain during ages 18 through 21. You don't actually stop growing until 26. Legal adulthood should really be 21 and not 18. It's not mysogony; it's neuroscience! | /r/MensRights | 04/06/14 06:32 PM |
Two dykes use sperm donor's genetic material to start a "family." Judge says he MUST pay child support.Shhhh only jokes now. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/06/14 02:17 AM
Two dykes use sperm donor's genetic material to start a "family." Judge says he MUST pay child support.I didn't know two artificial walls created to regulate water levels could have a child let alone get child support. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/06/14 01:55 AM
That purple pillThree fiddy never gets old. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/06/14 07:15 PM
Blue Pillers - Do you realize how much you lack introspection? Are you suggesting that coconuts migrate? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/06/14 07:06 PM
#YesAllCatsWhy are you representing feminists as cats when TRP clearly states that women are dogs? Also petriarchy? Do you even shitpost? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/06/14 04:54 PM
BPers, if I see a woman (who is a complete stranger to me) getting raped or viciously assaulted, should I try to help her?Nobody will force you to help anyone but you'll have to live with the fact that you're part of the reason why she was hurt/killed. Inaction is still action. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/05/14 01:21 AM
Is Elliot Rodger, the sexually frustrated mass murderer, redpill or bluepill? It's impossible to be BP because BP has no established rhetoric other than believing that RP is harmful/absurd. It's one of the few places users of SRS and SRSSucks actually agree on something. I think some of his ideas are RP, but that doesn't really mean anything. Was Doom responsible for Columbine? Were the students who rejected the shooter at Virginia Tech responsible for that? Some people are ticking time bombs and no intervention can change this. It's just part of life, sadly | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/05/14 05:21 PM
What does BP (or anyone) think of men abandoning Western women all together for Asian/Eastern European/etc. women?Honestly, and this is only anecdotal, I haven't seen many of these in the northern US. Sure, there's definitely equality issues, but not on the scale OP presents. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/05/14 06:21 PM
InsecurityProbably because many of these analogies attempt to create similarities between mammals distantly related to humans. Besides very general behaviors all mammals exhibit, the psychology of say a wolf or lion does not help us understand the psychology of a human being. EDIT: downvotes with no rebuttle, eh? Great way to make an argument. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/05/14 05:30 PM
InsecurityI wouldn't call it offensive, but I think the analogy is poor. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/05/14 05:26 PM
InsecurityWhat's the basis for this? And please don't say evolutionary psychology because that particular field is seriously lacking in empirical evidence. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/05/14 03:34 PM
Women Should Not Be Allowed To Vote "If your wife decides she wants to take your house and your children away from you, she easily can with the full force of the law behind her."Are you saying this in an American context? Because liberalism in the US isn't even close to Marxism. Obama Care isn't even real public health insurance. Unions in most industries are legally impossible (you get fired if you unionize). There is state sponsored industries such as the financial industry and higher education, but the benefits for corporations outweigh citizens benefits so much that it resembles something along the lines of a corporate oligarchy vs. Marxism. | /r/TheRedPill | 17/05/14 05:26 PM
Which TRP ideas would TBP accept if they were toned down?Anything "good" TRP has to offer is not unique to TRP. This is probably my main issue with it. You get these snake oil salesmen who claim to have this new and awesome advice, but in reality it's just common sense self improvement sprinkled in with some mysogony and gender traditionalism. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/05/14 06:38 PM
What explanation does TRP give for gay people and trans gender people? It depends on the individual. Butch/femme is a big thing but lots of us are androgynous and aren't really applicable to traditional gender roles. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/04/14 03:30 PM
What does your man do when you are out of line, bitchy or disrespectful? Are you dating your dad? Sounds like your relationship is more like a parent-child relationship than a romantic partnership. | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/02/14 12:01 AM
