Right most major projects like this have many teams contributing. Which makes it even more weird to pick out one small contributor and show case her.

Or not stick in in anyone. Those are your choices.

I agree and disagree. I am absolutely proud of who I am and what I've accomplished in life while having minimal contact with women since I hit 35 or so and I don't hide this fact if people bring it up. However I don't find the need to go around identifying myself all the time. To me that is buying into the SJW bullshit in the first place. I let my actions speak for themselves. Have integrity. Don't take shit from anyone. Be interested in everything. People will judge you for who you actually are…

I don't know. You bring them over here and they find other women from where they are from and they learn to be an American woman real fast (assuming you are from the US).

If you have a professional group in your field, that's the best way to find your next job. You'll naturally meet the types of people who will hire you and will have ample opportunity to impress them in person beforehand. This is more advice on what to do while you are employed and less of a viable solution when you are actively looking. It's a longer term play, but it's worked well for me at least.

People get criticized most for asking general or basic questions, not providing adequate code or obvious help with homework. It's pretty much inevitable then that snowflakes who were handheld through college and never challenged to produce, and rather just encouraged to be a STEM success story would find it an unwelcoming place for their bullshit.

I've never seen gender or race being discussed what-so-ever. If it were, it would be down voted or critiqued for being irrelevant. So basically the complaint is either SJW women get on there and are surprised that their flaunting their gender gets them nowhere fast. Or maybe they just ask a lot of dumb questions and find it hostile for that reason.

I suspect it is wrong and what the real source states is that women make up 51% of stock holders. Lower rung service economy jobs tend to have 401k's more so than working class jobs that men take. Unless they just assume that Bill Gates and Jeff Bezo's stock for all intents and purposes belong to their wives because neither has a good prenup. That's possible.

We were much more pragmatic when we landed on the moon. Idealism isn't the right term. You can be idealistic and have a vision for the near impossible coming true and still be very pragmatic about how you achieve that vision. The right term is ideology - i.e. a set of rigid beliefs that trump everything else. America has never been beholden to ideology to the extent it has become nowadays. China has gotten rid of much of its ideology in favor of getting shit done while America now has a set of b…

Good example of toxic femininity.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
