I'm no expert at picking up women at all, but I've found that worrying over girl's feelings for you is pointless. If you're interested in the girl, ask her out. Don't worry about whether she "likes" you or not, because you'll just get caught up in that. I took this approach after figuring out the mentality I should have when approaching women here and immediately escalated a long-time friendship. Try it out and report back to us if you do.

Depends what you want out of the relationship. From what I've read here you're making an attempt at seduction of some sort, so only use texting for meetups. If you want a highschool-esque date your friend scenario, get to texting convos. But that's not really ideal.

I agree with most of this, and part of what you said has inspired me to work on things, but I have some questions. I'm not particularly good looking, so I think I should compensate by improving my body. You said you did bodybuilding... What kind of lifting did you do? I'm not looking to become a body builder, but just to give my body more definition. My dad has a set of Dumbbells as well as an Olympic bar with plates and set up, so tools aren't a problem. I can't think of anything else right now…
