If the source for body count is the women themselves, I’m pretty sure the body counts in the OP are substantially underreported.

You should not see body count as a competition. If you want a relationship with a woman, her body count should not matter (her test results do!). Personally, I did not and would not now ask for a woman’s body count. If you have a desire to have sex with more women, do not get in an exclusive relationship with a woman. If you do, you will not be able to run up your body count, at least ethically. It’s just a decision for you to make how you want to live your life.

Breaking this down, it seems to me you are looking to be in an open or polyamorous relationship. I’m in an open marriage - I get it. This puts you though in a small segment of the larger population and your chances of meeting someone open is very geographically dependent. Your best bet is to live in a city with visible & active non-monogamous communities where you can connect with women seeking or in similar relationships. But seeking a poly relationship with women that are not seeking the same …

Honestly, there is more to it that that, but good for you.

I don’t use these techniques, but we’re open, so there’s that.

The number of women hooking up with strangers they meet at bars, outside of college towns, is not so great. A small minority of women in the area are even at a bar on any given night and of those, a much smaller number still are doing the random hook-up thing.

Well, that was just the thing I came up with on the fly as an example -- what if she's not even wearing a sweater? It would be pretty foolish to compliment her on her sweater in that case.

All Tinder has done since I joined a week ago is convince me I wasted the money I spent on the one-month membership. I can't say I agree it's a trap.

Generally it is better to compliment a woman on something she does or chooses rather than her looks. “That is a nice looking sweater you have on,” compliments how she looks by noticing what she does to look nice or her sense of style. You can take it from there — pretty women get told they are pretty all the time. Try to stand out.

Value is both situational and subjective. One man may have value as a father & provider, another as a side piece or ONS. One man as a surgeon, another as a plumber. And different people value us different. And besides, if no one has more or less value in the dating and mating world, why do men rate women on a 1 to 10 scale? Why do we care at all who we marry?

Being too young is a better problem to have than being too old. Count your blessings.

I took improv classes in grad school to address my introvert ways and it helped in some settings but not in the setting I find now I wish it had most helped — dating. Not an argument against because I had a blast & learned a lot.

It’s interesting people think they can know others’ life story from a few words on Reddit & be so wrong (predictably). My wife has not been with another man (or woman) by her choosing & has not dated since we opened the marriage. I have dated a few women I’ve met on OLD. Prior to being open we did some occasional swinging. But my in person game is weak - always has been- hence the original comment.

Black women contributed the highest % of their vote to Harris than any other demographic category.

I agree an I open marriage is not for everyone or even most but I do not agree it is something categorically bad.

Women see men as hook-up material or boyfriend/ FWB material or husband material. How do I know this? I’m in an open marriage and the 1st thing you learn quickly as a man in an open marriage is that the traits and attributes that make you a good husband and father get you nowhere in the dating world. If you’re having difficulty connecting with women for a more substantial relationship it is either because you’re meeting women who are NOT seeking that or because you are not demonstrating at least…

I am a bit of a cautionary tale - an older man who never learned to make approaches. From my perspective, my contemporaries who did well with women at an earlier age and either learned or possessed those personal skills have done incredibly well in life - successful careers and good family lives for the most part. The seduction skills you learn in life translate well to every part of life and as we know, confidence goes a long way. So here I am now, generally successful in life somehow despite b…

The vibe I’m getting from OP’s post and comments is that he’s more invested in observing and complaining than doing the work to get the life he says he wants. So you see a guy with a hot girl. What you do not see is all the times he was rejected. You do not see him with the one that broke his heart. You do not see his work outs, his hobbies. Getting the girl is not something that just happens while you’re at home playing Call of Duty. It’s a process and engagement with that process makes the dif…

If you want to date a stripper, which is not a bad thing, you’re going to have to meet one outside of her work environment. Strippers work to make money, not get hit on. Try finding out where strippers hang out when they are not working. This can be a puzzle because believe it or not most have regular lives outside of work. Some may escort or do other sex work, some are going to school. Others have boyfriends, husbands, wives, families. Women in sex work date men who appreciate them for who they…
