It really doesn't matter. As long as you're fun and interesting you can do anything for a date. If I was fun and interesting, what would I need r/seduction for? This is the kind of vague and completely unactionable advice which is just not helpful: "be confident!", "just be yourself!".

It can be described by this sentence: My summer was mixed bag of casual encounters, drinks out with girls I had met weekends prior, group interactions filled with fun people enjoying the moment and seeing where it took them.

Arrogance? He was hitting on her. How it is "arrogant" to 100% read the situation accurately? The butthurt is strong in this thread.

After a long night/morning of playing doubles in pool at a hostel Don't want to rain on your parade but it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay easier to meet women when you're backpacking. This is not exactly a revelation. You're meeting new people all of the time at hostels, there's a lot of drinking, everyone is single and on vacation, etc.

Yeah, the bar and club scene is taking it on the chin right now, in part because of the economic problems. This is not relevant to Toronto, the bars in the area OP was hanging out at are busy Thursday-Saturday, and the economy in Toronto is doing just fine - they can't build condo towers fast enough. There are more young professionals living (and playing) downtown than at any time in Toronto's history.

The field is more than the bars and clubs And you're making this comment on a post from a guy who's every FR involves going to bars and clubs. I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.

Usually if I'm sitting in a coffee shop, I'll be reading something. A newspaper, or a book. If I'm reading the newspaper, say, "Hey, what's new in the world?" or "Any good news in there?". If I'm reading a book, say "Hey, that's a great book!" or "My friend told me about that book, how is it?". Note also it doesn't matter if I'm listening to music, I'll gladly rip out my earbuds to talk to someone.

Compared to the US, our tuition fees are quite reasonable, although they have risen rapidly in recent years.

Nonsense. The smoothest guys I've met didn't do lots of charity work and talk about how they were saving the world. They just, got chicks. Lots of them.

This has been stated frequently on seddit - that in day game you should go direct. Being direct means what exactly?

All women secretly want one of the guys in the top 20 percent of looks Sure.. just like all guys want a hot woman. So, what, real life isn't like romantic comedies where the "really nice guy" wins in the end, because women aren't superficial like men and just want someone to treat them like a princess? Well of course fucking not, but you already knew that, you're on seddit. Everyone wants someone attractive. So, your choices are then, improve yourself, or settle. Many dudes choose to settle, I c…

Lol, what? This woman has the worst case of one-itis of ALL TIME. What's more, guys tend to get intimidated when I tell them about my ex. And it's not unjustified ... there are certain areas where he's a hard (LOL!) act to follow. Why are you talking to new guys that you hope to date about your ex? That's a huge red flag. It means you're hung up on that person - which, of course, she is. And that you're fucking crazy. Which, again... However "Alpha" this guy is, she is acting like a complete, st…

You have to do something pretty extreme, like go up to a bouncer and say "Excuse me, but this person will not leave me alone, could you make it clear that I have no interest in talking to him?" If there's no bouncer, you basically have to get your friends to form a protective coccoon around you, until he fucks off. Pouring drinks on him may help.

I would wager that you might have even caved in once or twice for an attractive enough persistent guy. Lol. Women don't ever "cave" for annoying, creepy assholes who won't leave them alone.

The Game is about Neil Strauss spending two years enmeshed in the seduction community. It's not really a manual about how to get better or improve your own game.. it is pretty entertaining, tho. How much of it embellished, dunno.. definitely over-emphasizes numbers, as pointed out by others, which are basically shit, you don't have to be PUA to know that.

Am I the only one who is thinking "OK, he clearly didn't do anything wrong, legally or morally. But: why-o-why is a 24-year old NFL quarterback, who can his pick of any number of early 20's cheerleaders, aspiring "models"/"actresses", club rats, and so on - why the fuck would you have anything to with a 17-year old? It's a 24-hour news cycle where there's no privacy and tabloids thirst for blood. Did you think this was going to turn out well?" The 17-year old is clearly a fame-hungry manipulator…

However, Seduction isn't necessarily about just getting laid. One would not get that impression from reading seddit.

he's wearing earphones Ask him what he's listening to. You're making this a lot more complicated then it needs to be. What do you have to lose?

Again, thinking-like-a-chick mistake: I rolled out of bed and threw on some jeans and a t-shirt Guess what, we don't care. A hot girl is a hot girl if she's wearing a potato sack.

No. WOMEN are freaked out by random guys talking to them, because many of those guys are creepy, etc. Guys are delighted.

This is awesome advice. Question: 1) How do you chat up random people without lapsing into the same, boring, usual questions? (what do you do for a living, where do you live) I had another question but as I was typing it I realized it was me whining about some of my friends being boring now (totally accurate), as opposed to me realizing that I still have friends that will hit the town and I need to make more of an effort to get out there. I also don't like going to bars all of the time anymore, …
