Yeah, because agaim, the females lay the eggs and the males are perfectly capable of just flying off if they want to (though of course sticking around does help the kid grow up well, and is also a biological urge)

The goal of evolution is to have as much offspring survive as possible. Because women have to spend almost a year pregnant (and presumably 20 years raising the kid) they have to be more selective of who they have sex with. Men on the other hand can easily just make someone pregnant and fuck off, which is why men are much more horny and expected to approach women not the other way round
