I interpreted this as him shouting and swearing at a situation that makes him upset, not his GF. Just like the GF would be crying over a situation and not “crying at” the OP.

I checked with a friend who is from CA, but further south. She said you might want to try a Calvary Chapel in your area. I’d call several church offices and inquire about “small groups” for young singles. You might get a good feel for what they have to offer without wasting your Sunday. I hope you find a great group of ladies soon!

I live in the Bible Belt so I have options on every street corner! I might know someone who can help so I’ll check with her and get back with you. My family tends to gravitate toward non-denominational Christian churches.

Keep looking! “Church shopping” isn’t always a bad thing. You’ll eventually find a church home. I’m 38 and have been married for 17 years. I can see where I’d be hard to relate to for younger women navigating the dating world today... but there are great churches out there with singles groups and you’ll eventually find a good fit.

I’ve hesitated to comment on this forum because I’m very new to it and I hope I don’t break any rules here. I’ve just noticed that the women in this forum are very much like my “church friends”. In the Christian faith, there’s a natural order to the relationships and it’s accepted that men are (supposed to be) the leaders.
