honestly, once you refuse to settle for mediocre men, extraordinary men find you.

I left that subreddit because honestly it exhausts me to read this. I have dealt with children like this and it’s so frustrating. I literally took a deep breath reading this. The mental load on that poor woman.

My ex kept pinging me every couple of months. This was pre-FDS but this quote helps me even now. LVM’s have no shame in rejection. They’ll hit you up, climb mountains for you once you have already rejected them. They wouldn’t behave good when they have you, but once you’ve put your foot down, he will be the softest boi ever. So the quote is in my regional language and goes like “if you throw a stone at a mango tree, you either get a mango but you lose nothing”. My ex coming back again and again …

thank you for the reply ! I am still a bit behind on the adult swim context but since it is almost comparable to Rick and Morty, I sorta get their vibe.

Hey i think i missed the context with the [adult swim] shirt, i figured its just a harmless reel trend. of course not to be worn at a professional event. Can someone give me the cultural context please !

this sub taught me so many things about being an empowered woman. it opened my eyes to how much disrespect i had endured. i only found this sub about 2 years ago when i was 21. My life has changed SO much for the better. I am happier and in control of my future. Thank you so much all of you.. i literally can’t thank you enough.

this CAN’t Be true. it’s so so weird stupid(?) it makes me laugh..people are trying to normalise other people being eaten as a fetish ? I seriously hope this is just lockdown blues and that no one in their right mind would think that cannibalism is okay

My mother still doesn’t understand it. I dated an idiot longer than I should have, and I have spent the last two years wondering why I stayed. One of the reasons I find is that my mom NEVER EVER validates anything about me. From my looks to my career, I am just supposed to be the best and anything less than that is met with chiding and scolding me. If I do good, it is nothing great. Two months ago I cried/begged her to just say the words(i told her that she doesn’t even have to mean them) that s…

Hah, a friend of mine did this(unintentionally) and it really showed me that the guy I thought of as a “good” guy was shitty too. I had just submitted a masters application I had been working on for over a month and I was finally free. My girlfriend would only be free in the evening so I had all afternoon to chill. I called up a guy I liked and who acted like he was into me too and I went over to a mall near his apartment so that we could watch a movie. This guy made me wait for half hour(no apo…

i swear to god, i have been on this sub for more than a year and actually had an account before this one. NOT once have i seen a mean comment from a scrote. i seriously salute you, i browse through the sub when i have a bad day just to remind myself that i am a queen in the company of amazing queens ☺️

i crawl with them on my back... i am sobbing this is so strong. my mom had to raise my sister and I the same way. My father left us when I was 11 and my sister was 16. She got into medical school but my father refused to pay because “she’s a girl, why does she need to study?”. 10 years on, now he walks around saying his daughter is a doctor.

my ex would do all this AND cheat on me. don’t ever trust them.

my ex cheated on me with my “best friend” in my pickme days. i threw him out but i genuinely feel she hurt me more than he could. he was a certified asshole at the time and the relationship broke off due to of her reasons but she was supposed to be my support system. I am still in touch with her though our friendship is ruined. Some very shady things about her have come to light too.

what you say does makes sense. but i am frankly too tired and I genrally avoid them. i could do this. but why even put yourself through something like this ?

omg lol,the question asks if as a woman do i want to have male friends and i answered. the fact that you say that its easier if the guy is married literally shows that unless the guy is sexually/romantically satisfied it is difficult to be friends with him. why should i go to such lengths ? why cant they just see me as a human?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/20 10:44 AM

exactly. hence i dont have guy friends. we might talk but i never consider them as friends.

nope. never works. and even if you do establish boundaries he’s gonna ghost you the moment he gets a girlfriend and be back the moment that girlfriend is gone.

this sorta happened with my ex. this was long before i found FDS. he was my first boyfriend and treated me like shit, always saying he was too busy for me. finally he “soft-cheated” on me by flirting with another girl. i took him back(i was an idiot) but i lost interest in him. within two months i won scholarships and i literally travelled to two countries free of cost, sponsored by the scholarship programme. this guy comes back and suddenly is clingy. i didnt realise why he was that way but he …

You dodged a bullet, someone keeping track of their middle school exes is going to be all kinds of crazy. Also, 20 YEARS AGO??

i tried going full steam ahead and not moving. Got a lot of men hitting me body first if I was distracted or I'd side step at the last minute and lose my balance. Men would probably enjoy falling on a woman ugh.

this is exactly my ex. what an asshole. to think i was so genuine and loyal and trusted him so much. i don't get angry a lot and i rarely hate people. i don't hate him. but such an imbalance in the world, where one human can go through so much pain for no reason.. he will feel the pain. maybe not this year. but some time in his life.

you would think.. but I am the same age as her and a year ago I would have posed the same question about my ex boyfriend. i was delusional. i am scared for her and i am scared for myself, i was this naive. never again.

I had another account where I had posted a lot on FDS but I had to delete it because a scrote found my account. I am so glad to be back!! Thanks FDS ❤️
