Dude...just go without the intention to "approach" but to enjoy life. If you get to talk to a woman? Awesome! If you didn't? Awesome too! Because you enjoyed the day. "Approaching" should be organic and normal. Not forced. It should be a normal chit chat.

I agree with you to an extent. As a man that tried to social date, tried online dating and speed dating, I've seen how superficial and shallow women are. First, what made you gauge your "looks" around a 7 or 8 in the "looks" scale? Was it female friends? Or did you give yourself that number? I'm asking, because a former best female friend gave me a looks range of 7/8 out of 10. I've had other women say that I'm not a "bad looking guy." Yet, I've had problems attracting women in the past.
