That all makes sense, I think the thing that happens with me (and others who tend to catastrophize) is that we take that information and then think, "well it must be near impossible for men" when in reality that information says nothing other than that women have it somewhat easier in this particular part of dating. Most men still do date successfully at the end of the day, and it's important to frame it that way mentally.

That makes sense. I guess what's important to avoid, from a mindset perspective, that just because it may be easier for women doesn't mean it's impossibly hard for men. At the end of the day the real life outcomes of this are pretty similar and we see a 1:1 ratio with sex and relationships
