My wife is Chinese. Docile and submissive? Hardly, and definitely not what I want. Feminine and sexy? Sure. Anna can go jump in a lake.

The "they're weaker" argument fails anyway, because among men too there are widely different levels of strength. Using that logic, a guy 5'5" and 120 can punch a guy 6'3" and 240 without repercussions. Also, some women are stronger than some men.

It's extremely harmful. It claims that victims attracted it to themselves. Children who are victims of abuse even. It also gives false hope, and takes a person away from reality. Always fighting to pretend we're happy, to pretend that everything is all right, to pretend our life is great, to imagine the universal Santa Claus will deliver because we've been good little boys or girls. All these books, seminars, and cd's available claiming to transform lives, in one of the richest countries on eart…

Or what if it really worked, and everyone applied it. So many become wealthy, but there is no one left working at the stores, because everyone's retired, so you can't spend your money. It's a stretch, sure, but the claim of a "law" means it must work regardless of how many apply it. Bogus.

It's a very real question. I had the same issue and was reluctant to approach girls for that reason alone. Funny thing is, I admitted this to the first girl I ended up going out with, and turns out she was in the same situation.

Have you mentioned this forum to them? Maybe they will see it differently, that there are a lot of guys trying to improve themselves besides you, and guys who have succeeded trying to help them.

This. You tend to restrain yourself because you don't know what they're like yet, maybe they won't like the real you, and if you're careful enough you can tailor your behaviour to match their expectation and prevent rejection, and receive validation. Something I've been guilty of in spades. But working on it and getting there. I think it helps to just accept the possibility of rejection, and that being rejected doesn't mean you're a bad person.

I think you already had her early on...no need to continue gaming. Just go for it.

This. If you know she wants it, just go for it. It really isn't complicated.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
