This article is bullshit. This really happens (in the states, at least). This idea is being stated a lot. It seems Reddit needs to work on its reading comprehension skills. The article is not saying that it doesn't happen. It's saying that often times the results of simply excessive drinking are inaccurately being blamed on date rape drugs.

I think the Daddy part is just her way of identifying the person or things that will be in her everyday life. So in that sense perhaps you're just an outside figure and less of a role model for her. without any substantive offering from, for instance, OP, it's hard to even try to move forward. That's the reason behind my post and its anger. There is NO MOVING FORWARD! The horse's ass of a judge already ruled. The mother alienated the child away from her father. The judge offered no relief. He shrugged and mocked us! All that's left is anger to vent. It accomplishes nothing but emotional relief and potential solidarity.

I see what you're saying but I think your undervalueing anger as a motivating force. When people have been impacted negatively by the way this country's misandrist laws are implemented, they might get angry but in an impotent helpless way. Well, women who can't see USA family court for what it is are just stupid. The thing is that although it might seem like it favors women...if you look a little deeper, it doesn't favor anyone: because, American family court ultimately harms kids...so, if you're a Mom and your kids getting harmed by a system...that system doesn't really favor you...even though it presents you with the obvious advantages of custody and money.

I'm sure you just feel the need to vent, but there's really nothing of value in this post. The opportunity to vent is the value. That's all that's left is venting. You must not understand that. And, that's actually the whole point! The whole system is totally fucked, and there's nothing that can be done. My boyfriend has had his daughter alienated from him by the mother. His recourse was court. The judge refused to do anything. All that's left is venting!
