At these incredible amounts I’d think it would pay to change attorneys and take it to court if mediation won’t make it equitable. What state gives this kind of BS?

The warden should be held personally liable and sued civilly by the family. This person is egregiously not doing their job.

As a parent, that is completely heartbreaking. As a man that has been through a lot, I could easily understand how it could happen. Scary. I’m so sorry for your friend and his family.

I have to say here, and yes, I am biased, the men here are brutally honest. I give these brothers a lot of credit. I would bet you go to a similar women’s group and you will not find hardly anybody taking any of the blame. No big deal, it’s just a life fact and the sooner and the younger, we learn this the better for us.

I understand she’s in your group of friends. Personally, I would steer clear of this woman.

What if this guy is only 23? Haha a female at 28 is good for any man from 20 to 79. Wait - 79 May get a heart attack, so only with caution and lots of practice and warm up. Good on you Brother, just don’t get dependent on the pakalolo.

I have up voted you and I’m pretty sure nobody from this community would down vote you. It seems most everyone here supports everyone else no matter their situation or thought. As somebody else said it’s up to you to find your motivation and drive and do something with it. I know easier said than done. But that is what is needed to give you a new life, and it is definitely worth it. Some days will be much harder than others. Have a plan for those days. Bless you and good luck brother.

This right here is very very true. Thank you for saying this. I am in the stage of still having the rose colored glasses on, but I’m also looking at things realistically now. Looking at facts. And I am seeing that she was actually a piece of shit.

Learned my lesson in this the hard way. At least my sons are learning from it. Hopefully they remember.

Your writing and support here is gold. Expressing my appreciation to men such as yourself. Just got a text from my attorney yesterday that my divorce that took a year was done 4/19. Heavy. Not relief. Realization this is it. Working on myself, much to go as everyone has, but I’m being a demanding bastard of myself while loving and appreciate myself. Sir, mahalo again!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
