Sometimes they're just dangling the carrot because they want the attention. It is entirely possible that she just wanted to stay over and be attended to and not have sex. Then you did the right thing. That's exactly what I would have done. Now if you do give her the benefit of the doubt, then maybe it was just her anti-slut defense, where she wanted sex but can't say it. While that's possible, personally I don't like to play these kind of games. If this is how she plays, that's fine, we're not c…

Develop a habit, do something with progression that you can get better at. By all means jerk off and watch movies, but these are passive recuperative activities, because they don't offer progression. Progression is something you can get better at. Like working out, martial arts, sports, playing musical instrument... etc. Find something that interests you. If you can spare the money, take a class. Because once you paid for a class and have a schedule, you'll be incentivized to stick to it. Once y…

It's not about being an asshole. It's about watching out for yourself as #1. Here's the misconception. I'm nice and I get used. True. I see asshole guy he keeps getting women. Well, that's because asshole guy has game and looks hot and has a fast car. His attractiveness is greater than his asshole-ness. But asshole-ness is still a negative trait, just not enough to bring him down. So you can be an asshole if you want, but that's something you should do ONLY AFTER you figured out the game. Then o…

I say most likely because she got dropped by her #1 and she needed an ego boost. Because you showed interested in the past, you were the easy one to target because she knew you'd respond positively. I almost wanted to say she was trying to make someone jealous, but she stayed the whole date, which would be unusual. I'd expect them to bail out and not finish the date as soon as the object of her attention was no longer there. But there could be other reasons, maybe she was bored, maybe her roomma…

Look like you're enjoying yourself. That's #1. People like other people that are having fun. Even if you are not, pretend you are. This is the "cheapest way" to go about this, even though this will net you the least results. If you are good at pacing yourself with alcohol, try getting a good buzz going. Alcohol reduces inhibition and you may do better. Just don't go overboard, then you'll end up looking like a compete idiot and become a chick repellent. But this is the minimum effort you should …

DJ, promoter, bouncer, bartender, are all ways where you can be the big fish in the small pond. But I don't think it'll increase your personal skills, you just get a a freebie "status boost" within a very specific context. Same thing with say, a dance instructor. You have no idea how much pussy a dance instructor can get while doing something that's not considered manly (by US standards anyway, US has a strong macho culture), and being perpetually broke (sorry to people that genuinely are intere…

Covering boobs is definitely "not attracted to you". But you can't expect all women to find you attractive. That just does not happen. And there are women out there that specifically do NOT like the "muscle" look. My guess is this is because you are more noticeable now, to both women that find you attractive, and women that don't find you attractive. It's both your new physique, and your attitude due to your physique, that catches their attention. The worst place to be is to be invisible. You ce…

Actually, you are. If you disagree, offer counter point, continue the discussion. Worse case is everyone agree to disagree. One of the easiest counter point here is this is anecdotal evidence. It doesn't prove your point either, it's more of a "I hear your counter point, but you need to try a different angle". Yet, you offer no counter point, not even this low-hanging fruit, and just call troll? It's pretty pathetic.

Of the "personality" female friends that I have, I wondered how many of them would retain their pleasant personality if they were hot. I understand both nature and nurture play a role, but I think nurture has a pretty large role. As a quick tangent, men are the same too. In fact, I observed this in me. For a while, partly due to my hardwork and staying on track, partly due to being at the right place at the right time, I was enjoying being the big fish in the little pond. While not discounting…

By being honest. I wouldn't have deflected it. I would tell the truth, but no details, that's just unnecessary. If you are not exclusive, you are not exclusive, for you, or for her. If she doesn't like it, she can ask for exclusivity, then it's up to you to agree and clean house for her, or not. Worst case she'll end things with you. If you are afraid of that, then she's got you by the balls. And you shouldn't, because you have two others right now, and you can get more. With that said, you'll h…

You were the orbiter, that's what happens to orbiters. If you don't like this, stop being an orbiter. Also, petty revenge is for women. If you want to break this cycle, start acting like a man. Move on, don't try to exact revenge. If you have clinical depression, go seek professional help. Your depression is the problem, not her, not being the orbiter, not being "broken". Even she breaks up with her boyfriend and fucks you blind every night, your depression will still be there, because it's a me…

It's a gamble. Life is full of opportunity costs. If you do A, you won't be able to do B. So you have to decide if A is more important, or B. And everything has a cost associated with it. Just because you did the right thing, doesn't mean you don't have to pay the cost of it. Even right things require you to pay the price for it. Marriage is the only way to start your own family. Is that what you want? If it is, then be prepared to pay the price to get what you want. Is being single for the rest…

Good luck, just don't get oneitis. Easier said than done, I know. From personal experience when I slip into oneitis I turn in to a lame ass piece of crap. I don't care if the woman lost interest, there's always the next one, but I lose respect for myself.

I'm going to propose something a bit different, I think aggressive betas are better than passive betas. Aggressive betas at least get Mary the 38 year old single mom. Passive betas get their hand. If the aggressive beta has a brain and is capable of introspection, they will eventually get out of this phase. Feel free to disagree, I'm just voicing my personal opinion, and the basis is doing the wrong thing is better than not doing anything at all, because trying is learning. You don't try, you do…

That's because she wasn't into you anyway. If she were into you, you can fart in her general direction and she'll think it's great. I'd say what you had was a high effort opportunity. It could work out, but you'd need to put in a lot of effort, and play the perfect game. Sure, you didn't play the perfect game, but I wouldn't focus too much on this, because you should have gone for a lower effort one instead. Lower effort doesn't mean a practice girl, but rather one that resonates with you and is…

If someone isn't ready, don't give them the truths. Betas will run to women pointing finger at you to earn points. You start slowly, and watch their reaction. If they don't come to the realization themselves, no amount of advice, or even if you could produce indisputable scientific evidence, will change their minds. Just look at the flat earthers. Unless people are ready to accept new ideas, they are not. The default behavior of betas is you rat you out to their overlords to curry favor. As for …

You did the right thing. Her being regretful could have nothing to do with you. Maybe she thought she had a shot with her #1 guy, so you were rejected. Now #1 guy also rejected her, and now she regrets her choice. It's not your problem. You did what you were supposed to. No drama, you didn't bug her, you were simply gone. A woman cannot possibly ask for a better behaved "rejectee". But they're unhappy anyway because they need the world to revolve around their every emotional change of direction.…

Collect evidence, talk to HR as sexual harassment case. If a male employee made kissing noises toward a female coworker, what would happen? Swapping the gender shouldn't make any difference. Equality works both ways.

Because you don't need alcohol to get me in bed with you (well, only if attractive women ask you that). A less aggressive version would be because you don't need alcohol to score with me. Or you can tell some gruesome story of DUI and how you ran over a baby, and go.. nah... just kidding, I just don't like the taste of alcohol.

I'm old school that I don't use online. But I know a lot of people hook up online. For me it's the traditional approach, social events, friends' parties, going out to clubs, dancing, social hobbies. Even the gym worked for me once. Any place where you can meet new people (except work) is fair game. But it does require you to put effort into growing your social circle. For example, in my 30's when I was pretty active, I made a point to never refused any social invitation. I'd have a birthday even…

I wouldn't put it as he's dragging the OP down. I'd say something like: I don't think you're heading in the right direction for your life. As your friend, I'd like to see you change and come with me in the direction that I think is right. But my direction may not be the right one for you, so you have to decide. So either the friend changes his ways according to the OP, then they can be friends again, or the friend has to choose to disconnect/distance because they have different "right path". Thi…

Then say "I'm not really looking for anything at the moment." I'm personally not into the asshole angle, but it could definitely work, just not my game. Going back at her like this seems like petty revenge to me, I personally wouldn't do it, but that doesn't mean it's a bad thing. Personal style. Making her work for it then escalate faster is definitely a smart thing to do.

Well, manipulation is a fine line to distinguish. Naturals do this without realizing they are doing it. So I say walk the line and get as close to it as you can without crossing it. This is what I think, OP. It's about showing you have options. But you have to do it well. I've had a chick that was obviously interested in me tell me all the hot guys that was hitting on her. Because the 1-10 rating scale is very personal. Everyone has a different 1-10, including women. There are also many personal reasons, wrong place, wrong time, low self esteem, was just hurt by a man, you happen to look like a shitty ex... etc. Don't worry about it. Just keep rolling. The thing about women is you can never figure them out. Don't bother ask why. It is what it is. If you are closing 7's and 8's, then you are doing fine.

That's not necessarily a "mental issue". It could be as simple as you are not ready to settle down. One of the requirements of LTR is you. You need to understand yourself. What you want, what you don't want, what you're about. For example, I have a huge problem with grass in greener on the other side. So when I'm single, I want LTR, when I'm in LTR, I want to be single. This is something I know about myself, so I wrestle with it to keep it under control. So maybe you just don't know you yet.

Well, there are two different possibilities. One is you were only interested in sex to begin with. Being a guy, it's not uncommon for your interest to be driven by sex. So after sex... unless there's something else they offer, there's not much there, until you get horny again. If this is the case then sex early is better. You find out right away if there's anything there between you after sex. Another possibility is you have some sort of mental block where you want to drop them after sex, even i…

A long time ago before TRP I was on some relationship forum, and one of the most interesting discussions with women on the forum was that women are not interested in about 80% of the men they meet. Years later this statistic was reinforced by OKCupid study that women consider 80% of the men below average. However, more than 20% of the men get laid, so to me, this means every woman's 20/80 split is different. Which makes sense, everyone have different things they are attracted to. For example, I …

Why does pushing for sex too early change anything? After you have sex with her you lose interest? Then maybe you weren't all that interested in her to begin with. If having sex on the first date will make you lose interest, I don't see how having sex after six months of dating won't make you lose interest also. Essentially, it's an "artificial interest" that you are dangling in front of yourself using sex as a bait to prop up your interest level in her. If you're going to lose interest ultimate…

She could have told something to the orbiter to placate him, because women like attention from orbiters, and she wanted to keep him around. Probably something stupid like oh I don't even like him that way. The orbiter then kicked into white knight mode and delivered this message from his fair maiden. I believe the thinking is you don't want to discourage victims from reporting it. The victim may be afraid that if they cannot prove the crime, they will be slapped with filing a false report... etc. I'm not saying that's right... do you protect the male victim (victim of the accusation) or the female victim (victimized and afraid to come forward). I don't know the answer, because it can be unfair both ways. Life is complicated. So far, our society in the US says men will take the hit. Men are g…

Half correct... you need to know how to make friends. As important as friends are, knowing how to make friends is even more important. The only way to learn is to try to make friends, and putting an effort into it. But the effort is for learning how to make friends, it's not to zoom in on one person and you HAVE to make that person your friend. Friend happen organically. You do your thing, and some will become your friends, some will not, some will drop off, then you make some more.

Abundance mentality is a mentality, it doesn't mean you are actually sleeping around. Most LTRs are exclusive, especially normal ones. Having an abundance mentality means you know and she knows (it's important she knows), that if she bails on you, or this relationship ends for any reason, you'll have no problem finding the next girlfriend. This doesn't mean you have to cheat on her and sleep around or whatever. If you break the promise of the relationship, i.e. sleep around when the promise is e…

It's good advice you should definitely follow, but this is sort of more like finesse and details. The main game here is you ask, then move on to the next girl with or without an answer, whether you screwed up your approach or not. Anything that's not a yes is considered a no, you do not wait, you move on. Because if she surprises you and comes back with a yes, well, having to navigate dates with multiple women is a good problem to have.

You don't, but your emotional brain does. That's why it's blocking all the advice and alternate strategies you are reading here. The thing with suffer avoidance is that unless you really know what it means to suffer, you will always question why you have to do the extra work to avoid it, and your natural reaction would be to say you can't and don't want to do it. Kind of like what you are doing now. So this tells me you haven't suffered enough. Take all advice on the Internet with a grain of sal…

Why don't you have any friends? Having friends is the foundation of social activities. It's the "beginner level" of interpersonal relationships. If you don't have friends because you didn't try, then try. If you don't have friends because you are mentally stopping yourself or sabotaging any budding friendship, then you need to see a therapist. My father couldn't make friends. By that I mean you don't feel like dating, but you go through the motion of dating anyway. Oh man, sounds like you are way down the oneitis hole. You have WAAY over-invested if you compare yourself to other men in happy LTRs. BTW, there's no such thing as happy LTR like how you are imagining it to be. Can you try dating mechanically? Typically for me, once I have several women for comparison, oneitis can be managed much easier. Because really, this chick isn't as good as you think she is, you just don't see it due to oneitis. But once you have another real life woman as comparison right in front of your nose, it'll be much easier to see maybe the first one wasn't as good as you thought she was. It's not even about gender, it's about the supply. If there are 800 male engineers and 200 female engineers looking for jobs, then it makes sense to have an 80-20 hiring ratio. It's just math. When you artificially skew it so that it's 50-50, then you have to give up something to reach that goal. This is equality of opportunity vs equality of outcome. Equality of opportunity is equality. Equality of outcome is privilege. Privilege doesn't work well in result-oriented scenarios.

What's CTE? Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy? You mean concussion, brain damage? All I know is you can minimize that by wearing protective gear and sparring with sane partners. Typically when you spar, you go light. Because hurting each other will only reduce your progress and is counter productive. But you can say if I don't go hard I'll never get good. When I switched over to MMA, if my sparring partners get me to the ground, I gas out quick. Weaboos and anime are related to Japan only. As for video games, Asian titles that makes it across the pond also tend to be Japanese ones. Not sure if you know this, but there are more Asians than just Japanese. And also, it's okay to not be attracted to Asians. My preference is Latinas myself. You don't need to make excuses for yourself to have your preference, or put down others that have different personal preference than you.

As a fan of LW, I'd say nicest and worst. A common body type is flat ass, body like a barrel, and skinny legs. Asian women on the other hand, tend to just have that petite skinny body, which I think a lot of men like. Personally I prefer more shape, and I'm an ass and legs person, hence I like LW.

Um... Asian women can be really really bossy. I've seen many White guy/Asian woman pairings where she wears the pants. So that's a no on submissiveness. Anecdotal on my part of course. Some of the other stats are not necessarily positive stats, depending on what you are looking for of course. I'd say personal preference should still over-ride all of these. Well, I think it's relevant perhaps in the grooming and style part. Women often are attracted to gay men superficially, only to find out the guy is gay, then they say stuff like why are the good ones either married or gay. Now I don't claim to understand all the underlaying psychology, but I assume some part is due to the superficial well-put-togetherness of some gay men. So I think perhaps some grooming and style advice may be applicable. Outside of that, sorry but I can't say I agree with this…

If you need sex so badly that you'll compromise your decisions then you are not so alpha after all. I'd stay away. Too much drama. You and your ex-LTR is over, she's obviously sensitive about this slut friend. No need to stick the knife and twist it. If you hate her and you want revenge, don't. This type of petty revenge is female behavior. Don't be a bitch. Most you should ever do is hard next.

I think it's good idea. Cohabitation brings out a lot of friction that otherwise you wouldn't know. How you do your laundry could drive each other mad. Although the true test is remodeling a house. That will tear up an otherwise decent relationship. This is because how you handle friction and conflicts is the single most important determining factor if a relationship will last or not. Cohabitation puts that to the test.

I say be honest with her, but do it with tact. Then let her make the decision if she wants to stay or bail. Sounds like you don't care either way, so if she decided to bail that's no loss of you either. If she raises drama (provided you communicated with tact... that's important, if you provoked her then you can't blame her for acting up), then that's a hard next.

Yeah, marriages used to have a goal... division of labor. There are a lot of mundane things one must do to survive. Having a life partner, with a woman, who has a different set of natural talents, and will gravitate toward taking care of a different piece of everyday life, lends itself to helping both of you achieve life more efficiently. Of course similar concept of division of labor also exists in families, and clans, that's why being social is important and built in to our genetics. But that …

Except I don't think bald is resistance training. You are just switching your target audience. Some women like bald men. Also to remove your hair because you think you have a dependence on it, it's a thought worth merit and self reflection, but probably should be approached in a different way. Sure, but when it comes to watches, if it's a statement in style, it will have crappy functions. Style, sometimes is the exact opposite of usefulness -- that's the point. It shows luxury and needless excess. Look at one of my favorite watches I'll never own, Cartier Ballon Bleu Flying Tourbillon. It tells time... that's it, and doesn't even do a better job than quartz watches, at a price tag of $90,000 USD. Why? Fetishes. Different people are into different stuff. Having someone fuck your wife/girlfriend is a fetish, sometimes they even want to be there watching their woman getting plowed. I don't get it personally, but this is not even that bad. There are crazier fetishes out there, for example, stomping -- having a woman stomp your junk with high heels. This dude, he's like someone with a shit fetish who happens to be a germaphobe. What a chump. Can't even man up about his own fetish.

What you've described is the opposite of stylish. If you must put in the effort to maximize your life to the extreme where spending a second staring at your watch is too long, but at the same time you want to be stylish, then I'd say you might want to invest a bit of time to learn to quickly tell time by looking at a standard watch face. In fact, I'd say this would be one of the easiest things you can accomplish to reach your goal. Then you are open to the world of stylish watches.

Learning to associate with people you have no respect for is a life skill everyone should learn. I do it at work every day. You have a number of qualities you look for in the people you associate with. Very rarely will one person possess all those qualities. So you have a bunch of friends, and each friend brings one or two thing to the table for you. Friend A is fun to party with but is into all those conspiracy theories. So party with friend A. Friend B is great to talk to when it comes to work…

100% correct, but you have to check local state laws. Some states require two party consent, meaning you can't just record someone without their knowledge. The details could vary too, like for example, in a public place with no reasonable expectation of privacy, perhaps you can record without consent... etc. Check your local law. Edit: But if you are in a two-party consent state, I'm not sure what you can do to protect yourself.

Yeah, this. You jumped too many steps in one stride. But good for you for showing confidence. Going to someone's house to "watch a movie" is code word for having sex. Even sluts will default to anti slut defense. Also attention whores are not sluts. They are just attention whores. It's an insecurity that you can use to escalate to sex, but they are not automatic going to sleep with you. In fact, attention whores are usually NOT going to sleep with you by default. All they want is to get that att…

Yeah, I thought your reaction was fine. Some people prefer the "make her pay" method, like stand her up intentionally or something. I'm not into that. Shrug and walk away is the most that any man should do, because women should not elicit that strong of a reaction from men. I don't think she was playing you, she just wasn't excited about the date. I mean you could have wowed her during the date and changed her mind, but based on her actions I would consider this low percentage. And being how eas…

You don't need to be the most alpha of the alpha. Don't care is actually pretty alpha. Acknowledge, pay respect when proper, but never suck up. If a fake alpha challenges you out of insecurity, de-escalate and walk away. Do everything with social grace.

Be the captain of your own path. Choose a path, and walk it. If it turns out wrong, it's okay to admit mistake and change directions, but own it. Own your mistake. No excuses. This dude I know, cheated on his girlfriend, then put the blame on the woman he was cheating with, and tried to use his social connections to push her out (he was more socially popular than her). Many people of his social click abandoned him afterward. It's not about cheating. It's not about being an asshole. It's not beca…

Ex Machina. Spoiler: AI has passed Turing test with flying colors. What is the next level test that proves AI is truly human? Answer: To be truly human, you must be able use your sexual advantages to manipulate a beta into doing your biddings, even at the cost of harm to himself, as that is the hallmark of being a human. But I don't know if there's one scene that can sum this up.

Bad choice of words, I don't mean business reparation, I meant emotional reparation, like letting him make the call on what he wants to do without interference.

I actually enjoy these situations. Well, enjoy may be the wrong word because running with your own crowd is always better, but I should say I welcome these opportunities. At any party, you will get: The "outsiders". You can spot them, they are not part of the in crowd. They are looking for the same thing you are looking for, to create a social interaction. So go talk to them. They will be as receptive to a social interaction as you are. The "nice" people. They will spot that you are a newbie tha…

Not familiar with cohabitation laws in the UK, but I see the business as the largest problem to fix. Being business partners with someone who wants to ruin you is going to be bad. It's better that he can convert his share into his personal assets without the girlfriend knowing, and walk away. He needs to disconnect. Sure, maybe she will recognize that this is her fault for cheating, and she'd be willing to make whatever reasonable reparations necessary. But just typing that out I feel silly. Thi…

That's for you to answer. As long as you don't do anything illegal, there is no dating police, no one to throw you in dating jail, because there are no dating laws. You can be as nice or as much of an asshole as you want. The only thing you have to answer to, is your own conscience. If you are on the overbearing conscience side, sorry bro, you are a good person, it's good for society to have people like you, but it will suck for you as an individual, because your conscience will be limiting many…

I've never been in a perfect LTR, and I don't believe that's possible, maybe it's a self fulfilling prophecy, but that's my view. With that said, there is definitely a huge difference that compatibility makes, and enormous gap between a good and a bad relationship, even if none of them are perfect. I personally suffer from the grass is greener syndrome, and you don't know what you have until you've lost it. So if I were in your shoes, I'd feel the exact same way. I've acted on it and then regret…

Good advice. I didn't become "successful", but I did become financially stable, i.e, not rich, not a millionaire, but I have a professional career. I didn't handle investments well, but I budgeted well. Half of wealth building is not pissing way your money. Sure, I still have to worry about my future and if I lose my job etc, but I don't need to sweat the small stuff. Yes, I could have done better, but even with what I have, because I don't need to be focused on keeping my head above water, the …

Agree, and achieving your goals and working hard can be stressful. Everyone have their ways of dealing with stress. If partying scratches that itch, then go for it. I'm with the OP, I don't see anything wrong with it.
