Please don't take it personally, I've had a rough 24 days. So I take it you didn't have a nice time during your stays if "poor, orthodox, and patriarchal" is your impression. Too bad but may I ask, maybe you visited in the 90s or early 2000s? The patriarchal part still won't make sense but the economy was indeed much worse. And where did you go geographically? We are a pretty big country after all.

My friend's husband went into remission and she went and got him this whole new wardrobe because he lost so much weight during the treatment. He died a month later, the cancer just came back... I don't know why but I can't stop thinking about those new clothes he never got to wear. My heart goes out to you, it's such a hard spot you are in. I really hope that things work out for you somehow.

Someone said on this subreddit that being a daddy's girl and doing all the boys things is considered normal, but a boy being brought up doing all the girl's things, wearing girly clothes, etc, is a plot of many horror films. Girl, normal panties just don't fit. If I don't wear thongs I have a visible panty line. Maybe I grew up misguided but ever since I grew a butt I wore thongs as it was the most comfortable and the least embarrassing option. We all have different bodies, and I am sure I am not the only woman who prefers her panties to be invisible.
