Again, agree to disagree. I'd rather go to work and earn my money than stay at home and take care of the house and kids. It's easier for me to be at work.

You obviously don't understand how hard it is to work full time and then come home, make sure the family is fed and the house is clean. Now, how would it impact you if you didn't have your wife to do those things for you?

Agree to disagree. The way I see it, doing a little bit of cleaning here and there, cooking a little bit here and there are not the same thing as being a homemaker. Like I pointed out, she is the one making sure you are able to focus on your work without being worried about who's gonna take the kid to school, or who's gonna feed him, etc.. She is also making sure that when you come home you have a meal ready so you don't have to spend money on trash food. And the way you said "If my wife is cons…

You are able to go to work and do your job and then be paid for it, because you have a wife at home taking care od your child and making sure your needs are met in order for you to be able to provide for them. Yes, she should be compensated for the work she is doing, because without her you'd be all over the place trying to take care of the child, home and still be able to work.
