Neither of you are incorrect about your views towards sex, you just find liberation in different ways. They are incredibly wrong to tell you how you feel and what to do with your body though. You would equally be incredibly wrong to tell them that casual sex is not empowering and only benefits men. The fact that you said that and also that they find you sex-shaming makes me feel like you are having a "holier than thou" attitude when you speak about sex with them. I think you either both need to …

Bizarre. I don't agree with everything promoted by FDS but surprisingly I have a brain with free thought and I can filter things that don't fit into my exact life into an "ignore" pile, while taking on board the advice that applies to my life and culture. I don't understand how a woman could not understand the need for a movement of feminist dating advice when women are literally ATTACKED and HARASSED for existing by men. Just by going on a date we put ourselves in a risky situation unless we kn…

Well surely it depends whether they enjoy games as a hobby or literally spend all their free time gaming. I like playing video games, it doesn't make me a loser, I still do plenty other things. It's like watching Netflix. But if you're addicted to video gaming then obviously that's not a desirable trait in a man. As with everything, it's moderation.

I mean what we can learn from this is that after he expressed his boundary of wanting one child, otherwise he would not marry her... She should have respected her own boundary of not wanting children and stayed away from him. I feel so bad for the kids.

A lot of the time it's nicer to have a discussion about your own specific issue and need it told to you, instead of reading general rules.

As a "female friend" of several guys, some of whom I consider some of my best friends (have way more girl best friends ofc), I would never go to a strip club with them at all it would just be weird. Let alone if they were in relationships, that's just disrespectful and even weirder! He says it's like watching porn so he thinks it's okay to watch porn with his female friend? Seems really dodgy behaviour to me. I would not be okay with a guy going with his male friends so definitely wouldn't with …

I think if they're his actual friends as you say then it's fine. I would try set up a meeting though, so you can meet them. If they're as close as he says that would be normal. If he tries to avoid a meeting that would ring alarm bells. At the end of the day if you still can't trust him it's better to break up than to try and force him to change his life. It's an incompatibility.

You don't "let" your boyfriend have friends of the opposite sex. He is an individual with his own free will and behaviour and that's what he chooses. You do not "let" your partner do anything. You see if your values align with his and choose if you want to be with someone of those values. Otherwise you are controlling. Personally, I find it a red flag if men AREN'T friends with women and have zero female friends. It means they only see women and sex objects and don't appreciate them for their ch…

I know this is dating but that is literally my dad. Applies to all male relationships.

That's disgusting. Block him. What a gross person. Don't be NICE. We are conditioned to be NICE to men whatever shitty things they do, so they don't "feel bad or embarrassed". He SHOULD feel bad and embarrassed. This is verging on sexual assault!! Where was the consent? The guy is clearly a weirdo with no boundaries. Don't say anything, just block! He has zero respect for you and what you want. This is not him expressing his sexuality, it's him expressing his perversion. I'm in no way a prude bu…

There are several options. Either he doesn't know how to flirt and thinks this is just banter but is taking it way too far. Or he is trying to break down your confidence and self worth so that you'll appreciate when he does flirt with you because he has beaten you down to think you're unlovable and you'll be grateful that a man(him) is interested. Glad to see it's not working. How do your other friends react? Don't they call him out for being so rude?

It might not mean much but this stranger on the internet is proud of you and the strength you have. I wish you luck with everything going forwards, your kids are lucky to have you. Please speak to a lawyer as soon as you can and make sure he cannot be near them without your say so. Even if you want it done amicably, it's better to be one step ahead because you never know what will happen round the corner. Considering he was looking at biological parent porn... I'm so sorry to say this but it's p…

I read on your other post that what he is watching is actual real abuse and torture of women which is sickening. I'm so sorry you had to see that and find out your husband masturbates to that. You cannot stay with this man. That's not just watching some consenting BDSM, it's horrific and I'm fairly certain illegal. I think the most healthy thing to do is separate from him and support him from a distance through therapy which he NEEDS to take. I would not allow him to spend time alone with the ch…

Yes, I have supportive friendships with men and I actually wouldn't consider dating a man who is unable to be friends with women. You just have to recognise who is actually your friend and not just hanging around in case you get drunk and sleep with them (it's happened). There are good men out there who you just don't see as potential partners but want as valued friends. I think it depends on the culture though. If there's anyone in your life that you have had to block more than once, do not hav…

I am sorry that this jerk has you questioning yourself. Honestly he doesn't sound like a very nice person and he is basically forcing anyone who has slept with more than one person into lying otherwise he considers them lower worth? He is not someone you want to be around. And since when is 10 a lot of people? If you are in your late 20s then that is around one partner per year if you started having sex at 18. That is very low unless you have been in long term relationships. He is more than like…

It depends who you are asking and where you live that determines if a number is "high or low", I find the whole concept of "high or low" really weird and judgemental. Honestly if a guy asks me this in the early dating stage I see it as a red flag because it means he cares. I have nothing to hide but that signals to me a major incompatibility because whether I have slept with 3 or 30 or 300 people, I hate people judging others for how many people they have slept with. It's archaic. If someone has…

You screwed up. Everybody screws up many times in their life. We're human. You were drunk. Just forgive yourself and maybe delete his number entirely from your life.

Agreed I'm in my last 20s and wouldn't consider anyone over 35 (and anything over 33 would really be pushing it) I barely know anyone one of my friends who would.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
