I was going to ask if the priority–list is ordered or not. There's this "dogma" so–to–speak that kids come before anything else, but /u/SmoothestLawyer's perspective is also true imho (even if he's a 21 yo college kid).

Fellow regio here. The kind of party-girls you mention were VERY common 7-8 years ago when I was in college (even on the midst of cartel violence), but from my perspective, they were mostly girls from other states who were enjoying their first taste of freedom on a new city. While in college, I was your tipical progressive-liberal-arts-communist-pachamamalover-whatever boy, my blue pill-beta mind thought tattoed girls with sexual experience who loved to party and smoke weed where the best you co…

True, heard this from my then-girlfriend who was angry I preferred to hang out with my friends rather than stay with her to do nothing and Netflix all night long. We were into a couple of months of dead beadroom (because of me) and it was her last attempts to drag me with her.

It's a shake, think Yambalaya, made of natural fruits and vegetables. I'm not where I want to be, some days I struggle, some days I feel lost and some I look back and see all the path traveled and that gives me hope for what I want to become

There was a post about him a couple days ago, right? Definitely mind/body connection is something I want to strengthen, I'm into my 8th month practicing mindfulness daily, 245 days in a row to be precise and I've percieved so many changes in my way of thinking and feeling, as I am someone who endures a lot but then suddenly snaps or burn bridges. I feel that calmness in my mind already when dealing with problems and it feels so amazing. Now my intention in the next weeks is to focus on my body, …

I have two main activities: Graphic Designer, I work with a remote partner and do mostly branding and some web dev for startups and new businesses in town. Since the start of this year, we've had a fairly busy agenda and have currently 3 ongoing projects, cash flow has been good and steady and are finally planning to hire helping hands. I have another client on the side (without my partner). Green Smoothie service. Started almost 2 years ago, with the intention to put my then–wife to work in som…

I'm kind of in your situation right now, but definitely been worse. What I've found useful: Meditation: look into mindfulness, I use Headspace app and has helped me inmeasurably To–Do lists: make them concise Pommodoro Technique: short burst of work followed by a break. I use a Chrome extension which blocks facebook, reddit, tumblr and anysite you program into it.

My biggest issue right now is my commitment to work, I got days where I just bang my To–Do list to end, but also days like yesterday and today where I'm procrastinating all day long. The fact that I'm a business owner and a freelancer allows me to "kick back and relax" as I don't have a strict schedule.

I think an implicit facet of the definition “Alpha” implies the social/tribal part of a man. The decisions I’ve made have brought me to where I’m today, which is with a 3 year old little dude (unexpected, but tremendously loved), currently going through separation with his mother. Before I got into this, 5 years ago or so… I was on your side of the fence, why bring kids to this world when a) there are waaaay to many people already? and b) if you are not giving them a better starting point than y…

Young men incorrectly try to meet these unfulfilled needs through a number of false avenues, I was thinking you'd say gangs, cartels and criminal enterprises. At least I see it that way here in Mexico. Each day I'm more convinced that we are in this shithole because we (mexicans) have lacked the masculine balance from a couple of generations and now we are paying the price with purposeless boys that get together to commit to crimes.

I don't doubt the assertion that "empires" have collapsed over a vagina, but I don't really have a concrete example. Care to show some?

And what caused men of the 19th and 20th century to fail such a shit test? From what I understand, it was the shift from the country to the cities what fucked up most of men. On the good ol' days, boys after a certain age where in the field, working with their fathers, with industrialization, not only that came to an end, but also the presence of fathers in the lives of their children, as they went the whole day to work.

Thanks for the long responses. Will each "Rite" be a yearly, official, instituted event?Like, explicitly after their X birthday? Are they aware of this or will it be surprise each year?

Great way to tie those concepts in a clear, concise and "empathetic" way. I bet more than one in here was saying "Yes, that happened to me…" or "Yup, I know a bitch who did that" like I did through the video. Personally, not a big fan of the aesthetics, specially cliparts and emojis, but the message was fully delivered and understood. Keep up the good work.

I think it's a great tool to compete against yourself, sometimes I just don't feel like doing it, but that stupid pixel badge has something that makes me want to keep it. Which series did you started? After the foundation I went with creativity, which I just finished last week and yesterday started with self-steem.

Keep it going! I'm on my 93rd day in a row, can't stop since day 1, those little badges are addictive. My road hasn't been perfect, a couple of days ago I finished my daily session at 11:59 pm, some days I just make the 3-minutes SOS, but I've managed to keep a 93 days (and counting) streak. I feel SO much difference on my whole life, physically, business, relations, can't recommend it enough. Correct me if I'm wrong, but meal timing has a lot to do with metabolism, right? If you starve for more than X hours your body will go on "caution" mode (don't know the proper term) and will store your next meals as fat because it thinks food may be scarce.

Not trying to decry anyone or anything, hell I'm not even "my own way" (yet?). I'm genuinely impressed to find a father in here and quite curious about his dynamic as one.

Solid post. Appreciated. This "inwardness" is something I've been noticing more and more lately. I've always been on the introvert side of the spectrum, and find myself judging and analyzing what people are saying to me right on that moment, which result in awkward or boring conversations. Also, I've always sucked remembering names, I literally forget it half a minute after meeting someone, which I attribute to my constant inward-self-dialogue I keep. This past few weeks I've put extra attention…

As I understand it, if the business doesn't make money while you are away it is not a business, just self-employment. But I do get what you are saying, making business on your own takes a toll on personal relationships.

First of all: I'm fairly new to TRP in general, I'm starting to grasp the concept and translate them to my daily life. Also, english is not my main language. Could you elaborate on what makes this specific set of tweets wrong? From what I understand, he is saying that he is most likely to remember hot women. What exactly in this example illustrates the mangina aspect of the author? Also, downvoting because I didn't knew he is a famous mangina? C'mon people…

Not sure why he would have a "mangina" reputation, but damn he writes some good novels
