You're talking about relationship equity. I fell for the same trap. Its like throwing stuff down a bottom less well.

Marriage counseling is a WOMBAT. Waste Of Money Brains And Time. Get your shit together, become more masculine, and chase excellence. Read No More Mr. Nice Guy and get moving.

Poor choices the previous round. You need to re evaluate what decisions you made leading up to it. This generally takes time and mental thought not thinking with your d.

He didn't have a choice in the hand he's being dealt. The positive masculine role models in his life are very limited. Her family has a history of suicide and are very susceptible to drugs n alcohol. I think if I was to abandon him at this stage in life I would be damning him to that fate.

So would I but watch what she does not what she says and act accordingly.

Not sure how your state laws are but I can tell you what happened in my case. If she is going to fight you there is little to no chance of physical or legal custody unless she would be willing to sign for you to adopt him. In my case she was not willing to go the adoption route. I have no physical or legal custody. I have legal visitation; 50-50 during the summer 60-40 during the school year. I will be paying child support for the visitation rights. I doubt she would be willing to do the visitat…

Time to get out. Therapy at this point would be WOMBAT. (waste of money, brains, and time.) At most you'll get negotiated desire which that seems to be what you already have.

I had a similar situation. 1st and last time I'll ever send a dick pic. It is now an in person show only. Thankfully no full nudes sent by me. They didn't have all my contact info for accounts and what not but did have my work info. I panicked for about 15 mins before I responded. Fortunately I work with my family and have very few friends on my FB account, so worst case scenario my brother, dad, and a few friends get to see the messages. I doubled down, told them to please send it to any contac…

All the other comments are correct. My ex was bringing her AP around within 2 months of our separation. Even with our shared therapist telling her it was a horrible idea and way to soon to introduce anyone into our child's life. You have no control over the stupid things she does and you're better off to accept that.

Heed this warning. In my case she wanted an agreement with no lawyer involvement, mentioned she spoke with a "lawyer friend", and the was an absolute ass when I consulted with a lawyer.

This is something that keeps me up at night. Do I stay because of my morals and continue raising him because I feel it is the right thing to do? With the state of men today I believe leaving him would cause direct failure and most likely his own suicide. I already feel like a failure for being deceived by his mother. There is some fear of being labeled a failure by society for not following through in what seems to be a sunk cost fallacy. Some days I'm not sure which one is driving me forward.

Ah comedy, I'm in a similar boat. House was appraised early this year and she wanted more than what would be a standard split. Seeing as I was the only one actually working on the separation process ( setting up mediation, following through on my end of agreed mediation, get the house appraised, and accumulating all need info to file) I pumped the brakes and here we are 6+ months later watching the value drop.

Just so we're on the same page. You "know it" yet you're not doing it?? Anti depressants have been out performed by placebo effects. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25279271/ Sunlight, diet, and gym. You gotta take care of yourself before you can fix anything else.

Stick to the real friend if you still have them. I have a very small group. Some of them are cousins with my STBX and I met them through her. They despise her and want nothing to do with her. I was very close with her parents and siblings. There are a few of them I still see on occasion.

I have watched a movie about throwing a ring into a volcano and seems to be a pretty long walk. I told my ex to keep hers. I hope it haunts her! The ring I had was just cheap and holds no emotional value to me.

Its rough as fuck starting over. You're not alone! I swear some days are just a fuckin roller-coaster. Take every win you can. I tell myself I can't give up now when my son still needs me and will need a father figure that won't give up on him. Don't give up on yourself!

Only my name on the deed. She is still living at the house while everything is finalized and I get to buy her out because awesome laws say so. I am tempted to move the few items she has in there into the extra room and cut her access to the garage off completely.

She's doing it on purpose now. In the past its been on accident but its happened a lot. I asked he to stop parking in there and reprogramed the doors. Now she'll just leave it open when she leaves. They are app compatible, I need to get them set up.

It's looking to be more this way for me. She'll be getting a big payout after I buy her out of the house. Even if she's smart with it there will be financial struggles (responsibilities) that she'll have to figure out.

I would like more children. I have one son now. Growing up in a large family (7 kids), I know he may never have the connections siblings can bring. I think this brings me as much pain as the actual divorce.

I'm in a pretty similar boat. I pay for all bills excluding her vehicle and phone. The only bill she pays that includes both of us is the car insurance for both of our cars. I feel like I'm not only the main provider but also the maid. I feel uncomfortable with messes and items strung about the house. God forbid I ask her to pull some weight either financially or chores around the house. These conversations always end in a fight because she can't take responsibility for much of anything. We have…

The driver is responsible for anything that happened while he was operating the commercial vehicle. To get a commercial license you must pass a test showing you know how to inspect the vehicle for damages and other part failures or safety related problems. This inspection is done at the beginning of every work shift. If there was a problem, it becomes his responsibility to decide if the vehicle is safe to operate or not. IMHO I believe he did everything wrong he could have. I'm going full Spider…

At first I thought this might be satire. I hope you see why I thought that. This is completely idiotic. I hear sex life with a proustite is great to but everyone understands the prostitute is using you for their own gains and is doing the same with others. I'm going to make thee assumption that you're in a bad emotional state right now. How do you see that improving when you find out she is fucking someone else?

I honestly believe we would be divorced now if it were not for our son and her willing to go to therapy and actually get it sorted out. The whole coming out as Bi thing was a huge red flag for me as well but didn't happen until after our son was born.

Your story is giving me flashbacks. I recently went through a similar situation with my wife. We do have one son and eventually went to counseling. I blamed my self for how it led up to a potential divorce. Turns out her childhood and past relations are filled with more trauma than she ever let on. Counseling helped me see that this wasn't all about me. I advise you to delve into r/TheRedPill some. I think it can help you set personal boundaries and have real expectations on future relationships…

Haha I did this with my wife. I've had a goatee or a beard through our whole relationship. Decided one morning the mustache was the way to go. She's still butt hurt about that one. 99% sure its her daddy issues.
