I said IN SOME WAYS, and yes. They had a huge problem with toilet cameras and sexism in the work place a few years back that's just a few things I know of but gender inequality in South Korea is consistently ranked as one of the highest in the world and that's not ME saying that, I wouldn't have thought that either personally based on outward appearances of the country.

In regards to the assets, get a prenuptial agreement if you have that fear. Sometimes the woman has assets as well and you'd also get half of that. If you build a life together and the women stays home to take care of both of your kids she is legally entitled to half of the assests if you divorce. She helped build that life in the eyes of the law you're equal.

It depends, if you and your SO built a life together you deserve half. Example my aunt broke up with her partner of 15 years they both built a house together and have cars together. She however didn't ask for any of that stuff because she didn't care. But she is entitled to it legally as they had built that life together.
