I see this behavior often, even and maybe especially in women who push the idea of “toxic masculinity.” They just seem to despise masculinity in general, but at the same time do not hesitate to knock dudes down for showing emotion. We wonder why suicide rates are so much higher among men... perhaps it’s because men are told “man up” when they have feelings?
