In every comment where you say you've taken offense Taking offense, in itself, is misogyny? I am not allowed to take offense to something? If it's something specific you are accusing me of being misogynistic, please explain how?

You're stating that you find me pointing out misogyny offensive. Where the hell are you getting that? Please explain. I NEVER said anything close to that or that would even imply that? What comments are you ACCUSING me of making?

❤️ that is so good to hear!! I'm happy for you! 😃 I like hearing about the good stories, and somehow they seem like a small gift someone can give out... so thank you for the gift. I hope you are doing well with your other parents, that must have been quite painful. I'm sorry that happened to you. I'm glad your life is lovely now, as it sounds. :) Eyes forward, as they say (and, as I personally fail at consistently.)

Well, my personal reality is that I don't care what you think anymore. Debate me personally experiencing that.

Your comments WERE aimed at me, as I experienced it. Deny me my experience, but guess what? Your words were careless and I felt bad because of what you said. Do you want to say if I'm an oversensitive male for having feelings or I'm not living up to your expectation of (toxic) masculinity?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/24 04:09 PM

Ive no idea how else to say it. Taking personal offense at comments that aren't aimed at you is odd. I honestly agree. I have no idea how to converse with you. Also, you basically just said "no" to actually giving explanations or arguments for your opinions. I think your continued lack of actual content to be amusing at this point.

Haha ok. So, I'll say, to you: "No. Nope. You're just wrong. I won't explain why, or response to your multiple points you've written directly to me." That is how you come off your me. You don't address my points, and just say "no" and don't say WHY it's wrong. I haven't heard FROM YOU any explanation or defense of your positions. You just say "no." So. "You are wrong." Sorry for explaining why I'm saying what I'm saying, it must confuse you.

Am I allowed to just say "nope" to you, as you did to me? Also, did I push someone down the stairs? Did all men? ... OR did one PERSON do something bad? It's weird how you attack people literally on your side, but simply pointing out you need to do better. Your statements seem hateful, more than productive. Yet, you speak very broadly, and in a way clearly including others. Nope. You might not think it, but the way you speak does make ALL men feel included in your accusations Only if they have s…

👍 Ah, yup. Pick your battles, and sometimes just keeping your head above water becomes vital. I hear you. Sounds like they provided help, which is good, but it gets complicated. When I'm receiving help, I hate if I am ungrateful or anything but thankful. And that's right. But also, you have to have boundaries, even when seeking help. Or, that's how I try to be, and often fail tbh.

Ah, I did read the "dumbass" comment wrong, my bad. Also, ok, I hear you now, I don't know your life, but it didn't make sense. (but better now that I know your experience.) Life is weird. Haha a favorite quote of mine is "what's the difference between fiction and reality? ... Fiction has to be believable." Also also... yikes for the father requesting that and making it an issue. THAT is the kinda vital info I was missing. (I also get why you wouldn't 'lead' with that info in your comments.)

The "repeal the 19th" movement presents a specific and tangible threat with real-world implications. It essentially advocates for the complete eradication of women's autonomy and their voice in public life. The influencers I mentioned aren't just random Karens on Facebook; they have hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of men following them. Whataboutism. That's what you just did. I agree with your point, which has nothing to do with the current discussion, but it changes the subject. You hol…

I was 16 when I got pregnant. He was 17. We needed the test for child support paperwork and his parents asked if I would be okay with it. My partner was actually really unhappy about their request, because he said they were accusing me of being a whore when I was a virgin when we got together. He said looked at him and said you need the test for child support you dumb ass. Thank you for the response, that does make a lot of sense and I see where you're coming from. So, how did the convo about paternity tests go? What was said? I am asking sincerely. Did you husband ASK you for the tests, or was this your idea? What was the purpose of the test IF NOT to directly determine genetic parentage? Was there routine tests and this could be added on, or was this a conscious choice you need to ask for? If it is a choice and there isn't another reason, then how is that not an accusation? "Hey darling, now that you're pregnant I need your genetic material from the fetu…

Don't equate all men or the "manosphere" with a niche conservative viewpoint. It feels like this sub reduces all individuals to some collective they have no control over? I guess I'll do it back... The womensphere is full of Karens who are hellbent on destroying happiness and privacy. I see hundreds of examples every day. So, by your logic, the womensphere is now toxic and to be denegeated also? Or, please explain how it's different?

The way you speak directly implies it. No it doesn't I was very clear it was about men who post misogynist views Yet, you speak very broadly, and in a way clearly including others. You might not think it, but the way you speak does make ALL men feel included in your accusations. I feel accused by what you say, yet you've simply made blanket statements about men, even men posting here. So, yeah, I think you are being flippant and hurtful. Vent away. Get it out. BUT. You can't then claim your word…

Me? How? Figure it out yourself. I'm a man, so I'm just whining anyway. Why do you care?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/24 01:08 PM

The way you speak directly implies it. Where did I say all men? I dont care if men like me lol You don't have to literally say some "magic words" to be a sexist or hypocrite... it is a judgement on your entire demeanor and how you present your argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/24 01:03 PM

Feminist is not synonymous with misandrist You're doing a good job blurring the lines between them though.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/24 12:55 PM
11

Why do misandrist women still want to date men? Because they can't overcome biology I'm not sure they do tbh. Or if they do they don't whine about it so much. Ah. So, on your post about misandry, you are stereotyping ALL MEN as being whiny women haters... hypocrite much? Maybe men just don't like you.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/24 12:53 PM

I hear you, and my point is I'd probably say it's nature and nurture. It seemed like you were highlighting the social aspect, but there are biological issues at play also.

:) all good I feel ya. It's sorta like how there's an academic meaning for "argument", but it's very different than the "argument" over Thanksgiving dinner.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/24 05:57 AM

Evolutionary Answer: human brains are constructed to be attracted to characteristics that would help offspring survive. A tall/large man will kill or defend better than a short/smaller man. The Venus of Willendorf is an obese very large breasted woman, because 30,000 years ago that was a sign of fertility and health.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/24 05:55 AM

I hear you, but I will say you are asking a question meant for people to engage with the negatives and positives... so debate about it?

I'm not the one complaining Reality check... you are complaining. It's ok to complain sometimes, but don't deny you are doing it, when you clearly are.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 07:50 PM

So why you bringing up all men if that wasnt your real problem? Lol, you stereotyped ALL men, so I followed YOUR lead. That's why. Look, you have issues beyond my pay grade. Like I said, show this entire post and comment history to your therapist, and I'd be interested to hear what they say. Have a good one.

Insecurities about what? Im not the one complaining “but the other gender has MORE!”. The person saying that has insecurities. This whole post and your comments are dripping in insecurity and distain. Do you not see that? Reread your post.

That sexist of you to think all men are bitter. You are the one saying an entire group of people are bitter!
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 07:25 PM

Women are bitter about this too. This goes back to all the bitter men that claimed that they were lied to by their mom about how to get a girl to fuck him when they were children. First of all, it is not Mommy‘s job to teach you how to get your dick wet, especially when you weren’t at the age to be trying to do that. A woman telling her little boy to be nice and respectful to get a girlfriend is fine advice. As the boy gets older, he should be able to figure out on his own that there’s more to b…

Because transactions are more predictable than desire and amity So, you admit the relationship is a transaction you just want the most value out of, and when the value isn't high enough you throw it away?

/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 06:19 PM

No. That assumes the men want to be with a woman, or anyone. It's better not to bother, put energy elsewhere.

They hate us so much they will bear a lower standard of living to be without us. You as a woman say this about me as a man, I as a man say literally the same thing to you as a woman. My biggest question BY FAR: what has broken to make that the case?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 02:46 PM

I disagree, I can absolutely see how that would be the happiest group overall, for the aspects you mention (single/married, male/female, and child/no-child.)

Ah shit, I didn't realize you were op. Ok I wasn't fully engaging. Edit: also I'm realizing I'm projecting a lot of my own emotions onto things. It is my projection, most likely here. Sorry about that.

Uhhh when did i say it? Thats a whole strawman you made. Again, women arent anti porn because they want males to be healthy You made ZERO legitimate points. Are you an AI bot? You basically said "what?" then you said I'm making a strawman argument WITH ZERO EVIDENCE OR ARGUMENT WHATSOEVER ON YOUR END. So, should I just believe you with literally no substance at all in your comments? Notice how I engaged with your comment, thought about it, and gave a response.

Because some good looking guys watch it and then neglect women. So it's all about you? What if they don't find you attractive? Maybe YOU don't deserve their attention. And the objectification you're displaying is haunting.

Naw. Loving someone opens yourself up to too much hurt. Better to just pursue other things. Maybe if you find the right person. But, statistically it isn't likely. Why bother.

They are talking about how these women disqualify men at their level. Which is in part what I was talking about too. Did I really read that wrong? Hm, ok OP did imply that women are able to get sexual or affection needs more easily. I mean, again I'm not saying you're wrong even, I just didn't think that was OP's point... but maybe you're right...
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 02:12 AM
1

Your point is that even with bad partner qualities being equal, women have a better outlook than men? Or some women think they are "above their status"? My point is OP wasn't saying that. You extrapolated that on your own, and expanded. I don't necessary disagree, but literally my only point is that OP was pretty specific, you started talking about a different issue (related, but different).
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 01:55 AM
1

What I'm saying, is OP's point was bad partner qualities are equally between genders. Good people have sex. Bad people have sex. The sex wasn't the point. But the way we are able to date and live our lives in the dating arena isn't the same. If anything, I think OP was agreeing with you, aka women vs. men have very different experiences (good and bad, btw), and implied women would do better with a "random hookup".
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 01:32 AM
2

How though, as most women don't be hoe'ing around and thus will date to have that intimacy. Cause they can. Literally the title of the post is: "There's just an many Low quality Women as Men" You seem to be focusing on something else.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 01:14 AM
2

But the actual amount of dates and access to physical intimacy through normal dating means, are very much skewed against men. For many men, it's just not possible at all. Yet, as it's repeated many times on social media.. "A woman is only lonely, if she chooses to be". Ok, but that's a different issue. OP's point was there are equal amounts of people with issues or negative qualities regardless of gender. If women still have an overall better chance to have sex, well that's probably true. But th…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 01:10 AM
3

Well, that's the point of this post.. That women who aren't in the upper echelon, will get dates from men who are. That isn't the point, the point is "the number of low quality people is not tied to gender." Aka, same proportion of low quality partners for men and women.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 01:01 AM
12

And I think that’s the issue is that the standard for what’s respectful is so low we don’t know what isn’t respectful. While we didn’t hit it off romantically we still would’ve been able to have a decent time just connecting with another human and learning about them with the time we blocked out. Essentially it’s just amounting someone’s value as a person to how attractive you find them which I feel is disrespectful. Define "respect". Why isn't this actually respectful of your time because she w…

Yes, the dude was being a dickhole. Stole their shots blatantly and was being an ass about it. Snooki, very rightly, was pissed and started yelling at him, as any sane person would have a right to. Then the dude full on destroys her jaw. He was 100% in the wrong here, and she was doing what anyone has the right to do, yell at someone literally stealing from her. Holy fuck... am I defending Snooki right now... I need to sit down and reevaluate my life for a bit

Women are either sluts or not. There is not an in between. Do people actually believe that every woman can be categorized to such an extreme degree? There is truly not even a single person whose life experiences and behavior defies this very broad classification? Give me a break. Every person is quite different, and believing that every person can be simply shoved into large and ill-defined categories is the most simple and basic understanding. Honestly, give me a definition of "slut" that I can…

Yes, absolutely, there should be. So you're right, this is a bit unfair and men only classes (probably in different subjects) should be instituted as well. No argument here about that
/r/MensRights13/11/14 03:33 AM

It isn't about M v. W, there have been studies that show that people of both genders do better in certain subjects when they are separated. Women in STEM fields have been shown to perform better and be more interested when in single gender situations. So, if it's been shown that a significant proportion of people do better in single sex education environments it is justified in instituting classes like this. It isn't "sexist" is it statistics, it is science and evidence based outcomes. If it hel…

Ok fair point. I get your point about the chart being sequential, kinda overlooked that. As for statutory rape... well I'd also say that should be a separate term. Social interactions surrounding sexuality are extremely complicated. Being of an age to have healthy sex brings up a very different set of issues than 1 adult violently attacking and forcibly penetrating another adult. I mean seriously, why would we call those the same things? Lack of consent? Well, the 17 yo might be screaming "YES I…

"Did the other person know they were having sex with you against your will" - YES = Rapist "Was the person too drunk to know what they were doing?" = Rapist So the first one I get. But the second one is crazy, if someone is so drunk they "don't know what they were doing" then that person MAY have raped, but it isn't by definition rape. So 2 drunk coeds get freaky, and they both raped each other? Why should we apply a term like rape (meant to capture violent forced sexual penetration) to 2 drunk …
