I think it's useful as a way for women just starting out FDS to process the garbage society has taught us. Same reason behind a lot of the similar 'depravity of men' posts.

I think a lot of it is about it being easier to control people without a lot of life experience. The ages they target are more vulnerable to manipulation, and less likely to speak up for themselves.

I genuinely don't care if a guy I'm dating is shorter than me. My issue is they always seem to have inferiority complexes about it, and it makes them jerks to everyone. I've only met a couple of short guys who didn't have this attitude.

What's worse is how apologists talk about it as a nostalgic coming of age thing instead of predatory. It's particularly insidious in the LGBT community because a lot of these kids have been cut off by their families, and are desperate for a support network. They're primed to be vulnerable so it's easy for them to be taken advantage of.

Practicing stoicism has been a huge help for me. Unfortunately it's been co-opted by the red pillers, and that's made a lot of women leery of it.

Incontrovertible proof that misogyny and patriarchy don't exist.

They're also assuming that risking their lives makes them good people, and deserving of citizenship. A lot of the terps we worked with were creeps. I'm not surprised they ditched their families.

I deployed there, and the women's outreach programs I was periodically assigned to felt hollow because of things like this. We were forced to ignore it as a matter of policy. Same thing with all the chai boys (very young boys forced to dance in women's clothing and prostitute themselves for men) we'd see.

This reminds me of all of the BDSM promotion you see nowadays. It's always repulsed me, but for a few years I used to wonder what was wrong with me because the media made me feel like an outlier for not liking it. Society loves to gaslight women into accepting things that we don't want.

What kind of idiot thinks this is a good idea?!

Same. So much great advice on here.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
